The bed was not properly setup to be a queen. It was two uneven single beds joined without a secondary top mattress to cover the join. It was a bed with a hard 6 inch ridge in the middle. For a couple it would have been like sleeping on a staircase. All issues reported were referred to management, who were unresponsive.

The staff in general are friendly, helpful and accommodating which is why I gave five stars. The room size are reasonable for its price given its location. We would have liked to see complimentary drinks during our stay. One bad experience we had was the noisy aircondition. We were moved to a different room in the same category but that too was noisy but we just couldn’t be bothered to move again since we were too tired. Perhaps the aircondition facility in that level only. Its the excellent customer service of the staff that negates our bad experience.

Couple 6 days away
Hotel: hotel exterior and lobby are nice with free filtered water and hot water available. Luggage storage and laundry available (wash $5, dry $4, 8am-6pm). Staff: All nice and helpful. Room cleaners do start early so put out your do not disturb sign if you want to sleep in. The room and bathroom was clean, well decorated and no complaints. Breakfast was included and was good with lots of choice of sweet, savory, juice and coffees. They even packed us a breakfast when we had to leave early one day, see pictures (breakfast is 7:00-10:30) Location: a few mins walk to nearest T station and 10-15 mins to central station.

Great location if doing business in Darlinghurst. 15 to 20 min walk from St Vincent's Private Hospital. Quiet, clean with plenty of space. Very happy. Would definitely use this hotel again.
