Clean room. APA Hotels are expected to have a bit of a smaller room, but it was still comfortable enough for a solo traveler with just a standard carry on bag and a backpack. The public bath was refreshing. There is only one washer and dryer, but the downside is that the washer takes 30 minutes but the dryer needs 2 hours or sometimes more to finish so coordinating that can be a hassle. Somebody had actually taken my clothes out and put theirs in in the middle of my dry cycle which was kind of annoying. Also the temperature in the room can be warm at times especially during the day if your room faces the sun. The window at this particular hotel couldn't be cracked open to let the cool air in either which would've been perfect as it was 60F outside most nights. The cleaning lady was also very nice and helpful too.

The room was clean, the staff were helpful and courteous. The Onsen/Spa area was nice. I would suggest that the vending machine, microwave and ice dispenser should all be under one area for better convenience, unless it was on purpose? So it doesnt get crowded?

Great hotel - for a few reasons. Tawaramachi Station right out the front the hotel. So many convenience stores within walking distance. An easy walk to a delicious little local restaurant (Asari 111). Asakusa was a great area to explore. We went to the Sumo Club for a show (recommended!!!), shopping for ceramics and homewares on Kappabashidogugai Street, Senjo-ji Temple and so much more. An easy subway ride into every attraction in Tokyo and the best part of all, a lovely onsen to soak the day away. The reception was friendly and helpful. They gave me change for the laundry, we were able to wash and dry clothes and checkout was a breeze. 10/10

Hotel was nice and cleaned not to mention perfect location and close to the subway. The only issue was it felt outdated and need some updates not only to the electric lights but u can tell the room was in need up and uplift.

Room was way too small and it was very cold in the washroom. Toilet isn’t heated either. TV kept turning on every time even after we shut it off waking us up at night. Just overall a bad experience and will never book APA again
