The service we received at this hotel was top notch! The caper/bellman Austin went out of his way the entire weekend to make sure we were taken care of by unloading and holding our luggage until check in upon arrival and then bringing it to our room and coming back to pack it up and load it in our truck when we checked out. He was friendly and efficient and even recommended a great restaurant for supper. Tasha in the kitchen at breakfast was so nice and even went to the chef to get more information about the jelly/jam/preserves they provided when my husband was raving about how good it was and then gave us a recipe of how she uses it at home. We arrived a half hour before check in and the room we requested wasn’t ready so the lady at the frost desk (I don’t remember her name) gave us vouchers for a free beverage on site and then when our room was ready (15 minutes after check in) we referee breakfast vouchers for our weekend stay, which was a pleasant surprise. The resort and amenities were quite small but it was quaint. The pool was nice… until a child pooped in it and they shut it down for an hour. The pool restrooms are in need of updating. The tile was grimy and cracked and falling off the wall and the toilet was wobbly. The suite was very spacious and clean. My only recommendation would be to add table & chairs & update the coffee pot to a keurig for more functional use (we brought or own) & provide real coffee mugs rather than paper, but housekeeping brought me 2 cups.
