Absolute beautiful place to stay. All amenities needed were on site.

We booked a night here to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. It was a lovely hotel with lots to do! We could have happily spent a few more days here. Check in was fast and friendly, the room was perfect and clean. There were food options, a pool, casino and even a place we could drop our rental car off. Excellent experience!

Shuttle service is needed 4 airport more than they offered time wise. They are further away from the airport than realized, when booking

Seven family members stayed at the RIU Palace Guanacaste. Three of us had birthdays and the rooms were updated and decorated. We had a Junior suite that was had alcohol dispensers, a fridge with drinks, a mini jacuzzi and king bed with a lovely veranda overlooking the pool and partial view of the ocean. Overall the room was clean and well kept. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. The shows were great, top shelf liquor and multiple restaurants. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the buffet restaurant the most-great selection of food, fruits and drinks. This was our first time at a RIU resort and we all absolutely loved it. We were able to do some side tours for horseback riding, ziplining, white water rafting , water tubing and thermal pool. We also visited Tamarindo and some of the surrounding areas had had amazing seafood in Tamarindo. Overall 10/10-best birthday ever. Thank you RIU

Great property for the price. Loved the thermal baths, dining options and large rooms. Full service resort with spa, multiple pools, even zip lining on site.
