Disappointing experience. - During my 6-night stay, my room was cleaned only once. Whenever I tried to request cleaning, I was either told it was too late or that all cleaning services were booked. - The property is extremely old with a stuck balcony door requiring staff assistance, and the phone in the room didn’t work at all. - On top of that, I accidentally booked the hotel twice for the same dates and didn’t receive a refund for one of the bookings. - The only positive was the location, but overall, this hotel is far below expectations, and I would not recommend it.

Inconsiderate staff. Not very clean

Was put on level two where the staff had offices and laundry facilities etc. they were loud chatting past midnight, and vacuum cleaning the hallways at 7am didn’t get a good nights sleep because of how inconsiderate the staff were. A dead cockroach was flattened against the wall in the bathroom highlighting it hadn’t actually been cleaned.

Good enough. Other than one late night clerk the staff were very helpful. Beach towels and chairs were an unexpected bonus. (Ask) They've done what they can to renovate but it will always be an old building with alley views.

The hotel is really outdate, need renovation. Kitchen sink is beside the toilet. Toilet is so tiny & no fan. The room was not clean, all dust on the table light. Only good credit is friendly staff.

In general price is answering for the room you get. But keep in mind, if you don’t like having cockroaches sleeping with you in the same room, then it’s not a place for you. I understand it’s Hawaii (as desk guy said us) but I also with this information can sleep in even more cheap place. Lady at help desk another days was very nice and helped us a lot with parking!

Aulava at Ewa Hotel.

I only needed a place to sleep so I hardly spent time at the hotel. Parking was the only issue, which was lacking and had to park at a metered spot. Location was great for the price.

This place was just a basic place to have somewhere to sleep in Waikiki. The room and hallway were kinda dingy, and the room lacked character. But if you need a decently priced place to sleep, it works. Just wanted to add that all the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. The place isn't bad, but it doesn't scream "Hawaiian vacation," and isn't a place where you want to spend a whole lot of time.

I am so grateful for a wonderful room on New Year’s Eve to see the fireworks . Beach towels are soft . Bed is comfortable and choice of pillows . Large bathtub to soak in after a long flight . Big refrigerator, delicious coffee , great shampoo and soap . A short walk to the beach and Starbucks . Air conditioner is quiet . Plenty of hangers for my clothes . Staff at the front desk were so kind and informed me about the fireworks . Large rooftop area where I ate my lunch and read a book . I also took some sunset photos and there was a nice breeze too . I am so grateful to be here in this nice room .
