I want to say that our stay here started perfect, with great service and an upgrade to the room. The staff was very easy to work with when we got there, which made me feel more at ease. When we got to the room, it was a nice upgrade for our staycation.
But when it came to calling the front desk, we noticed that the phone in the room didn’t work. There was the phone number to the front desk (or so it seems) on the landline. So when we called it, it just rang. So we just ended up looking for the cleaning people for more towels. They had to still go to the first floor, to the front desk for the towels.
When we had to check out, so at 10 am we called from our cell phones to the number on the landline, and someone answered “Ewa Hotel, this is —,” so we requested to the female that answered for a later check out, she then stated “okay, so late check out for today since you are checking out early?” Confused we ask what she meant, she continued “your reservation ends tomorrow, but you would rather leave today?” Confused, and thinking I must’ve overbooked us, we just went ahead and told her to keep the reservation as it stands, hoping we could figure out if i could at least get my money back or stay another day.
At 2:15pm, we received knocking at the door. We were met with a female worker that stated that we should have checked out. We advised that his was not what the front desk told us. She was not very polite and advised that no one said that.
