This was the first time I stayed at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and it has a lot of shops, restaurants and amenities within the property. The pool is beautiful and fun for the kids. On the other hand the workers were on strike and we were not notified in advance. When I arrived at the hotel with my elderly parents, daughter and teen nephew/niece we were appalled to see the line for check in. We stayed on line for about an hour after a long flight from NY. When we checked in we were informed that there was no cleaning service and that we have to go to the 12 floor for linens, soap, toilet paper, etc. Due to the constant noise we weren't able to enjoy our stay. We couldn't sleep because the strikers began chanting with loud speakers and drums at 6:00am and ended between 9:30pm-10:30pm every day we were there. We could not sit at the balcony, or relax by the pool because of the noise. The restaurant by the pool was closed so whenever the kids got hungry we have to leave the premises to get food. We were also told that we have to leave the garbage on the hallway which made the hotel looked like a cheap motel. We should’ve been informed of the situation prior to our arrival so we could’ve made an informed decision, but expedia nor hilton contacted us. I wish I could have left a better review but the whole strike ruined our vacation.

To start out, all the workers were on strike. While checking in at main lobby there was a musician nearby that had the speaker so loud you could barely hear what was being said. We waited 2hrs for our room to be ready after check-in. We waited another half hour to just get on an elevator. There was no maid service, no valet, etc. The workers that were on strike thought it would be useful to shout with bullhorns 15hrs a day to get their message out. The pools were open but obviously dirty, the pool bars and restaurants were all closed. If you were looking for a nice, enjoyable, peaceful vacation this was far from it. Basically you had to leave early in the morning(before 7am) and stay out late (after 10pm) if you didn't want to hear chanting on bullhorns. I was very disappointed and most likely will never go back to Hilton Hawaiian Village.

The property was nice and the staff were great. My rating was good instead of excellent because of the three days of employees on strike during our stay. Guests should never have to cross a picket line to reach their accommodation. The Hilton corporation should negotiate in better faith to ensure that strike action is never necessary and such that employees are compensated with a fair living wage and benefits.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, great location good price. My only issue we had was the construction going on the property, only the first day was the road to drive into parking paved. The rest of the stay the road was blocked off for construction this made it very hard to get in/out of the hotel and to our vehicle (also the strikers) . If this hadn’t happened our stay would’ve been a 10/10.

This place was great! The view was spectacular the rooms were large. The living room was large. I love that it had two bathrooms. I would really recommend for anyone to go stay at this place. The swimming pools with the waterslides was so fun for the kids.

The Hilton Village has great pools for everyone. A safe lagoon for everyone and an accessible beach area from morning to night. The fireworks they put together every Friday night at 8pm is spectacular and you can enjoy it from their beach or sitting along the boardwalk by the ocean. Only a 15 minute walk through the ocean board walk to the Waikiki strip where you can enjoy the local restaurants, cafe, shopping , shaved ice but you have everything you need at the Hilton Villlage with 2 ABCs. You can rent a car from Enterprise at the Hilton Village at the Enterprise desk which is located infront of ABC and it’s open from 8am-12pm for you to collect your pick up reservation. You then just have to go to the parking lot right across from their office and take it to the 5th floor parking where another Enterprise attendant will set you up with your Vehichle. You can drop your car back off to this same lot too so wonderful for a day rental and you don’t need to pay for the expensive parking at all of the hotels. Easy route out of the hotel parking so you’re not stuck in the busy hotel lobby drop off area. Great hotel if you’re visiting Hawaii for the first few times. We have stayed her 10 years in a row but we aren’t time share owners. Do some research on which tower you want to stay here. We had a wonderful time. Great view. Only negative would be that the pools weren’t as good as I would have thought and super packed like sardines. Otherwise great visit.

Family Vacation

Great stay. Walking distance to all the shopping and eating you could want. The lagoon is perfect for swimming and paddle boarding without the waves of the ocean. Free laundry which is the best thing!!!

Very beautiful hotel!

Property was beautiful! Pool area was awesome! AC is room is terrible and it was hot in the room. Shopping area was really nice. Staff super friendly! We had the best view from our room as well!!
