This was to be our one night at a luxurious hotel. We were underwhelmed. It was just a bigger room with a lot of empty space that made the TV further from the beds and harder to hear and see. At 10:00 PM a group of about 5 or 6 guests stood in the hallway and talked until I went to the door with my CPAP machine mask on, opened the door, and stared at them. I realize the hotel has no control over rude guests but the room was poorly sound proofed to prevent them from disturbing their neighbors.

Nice to be RIGHT on the water/beach. No hotel seating, typical for beach services to provide umbrellas and chairs for rent. Great food available on the property, with hundreds of other options very near. Our favorite thing was the ABCstore right on the premises. So much variety from salads to sweatshirts and sunscreen. Rooms nothing special but nice enough. We had to pay for room upgrade to get partial ocean view and would recommend it. We did ask if the fee could be waived r/t our gold One Key status. No go. Had one free breakfast daily which was helpful and about a $20 value.

Overall me and my family enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff are friendly! The property is also super comforting. The hotel location is very convenient because of its location on the beach and it's fairly close to other stores and restaurants! No real parking, valet is $50 a night, so a 6 night stay adds up very quickly! The pool is pretty nice, but the water could be at least 10 degrees warmer! (You'd rather be in the ocean anyways)

Our family enjoyed our stay at the hotel. With Expedia’s VIP perk, we received 5 breakfast coupons and our room was upgraded to a larger room. Water temp was great and the removable shower head was a definite plus for our kids. Our room had the pool view so we could hear the live music from the lanai. The onsite restaurant and bar, Monkeypod, was delicious. The food and drinks were so good that we went back. Staff were all really nice. My BIL plans on visiting Waikīkī in December and we’re going to recommend the hotel to him for his stay!

My stay at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. The location is unbeatable, it is situated right on the beach, with breathtaking ocean views and easy access to Waikiki’s vibrant attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with Hawaiian-inspired touches that added a sense of charm and relaxation. What truly set the experience apart was the resort’s commitment to hospitality. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The dining options were fantastic as well, the onsite restaurants offered delicious, fresh local cuisine, and the live music in the evenings added a special touch to the atmosphere. Overall, my stay at the OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort exceeded all my expectations.

Overall it was an excellent anniversary trip stay! We enjoyed the upgrades to the property and loved the nightly live music and variety of activities offered at the resort, even though we didn’t take advantage of them this time. Love that you are on the beach and the walkability is excellent! We had a slight issue with the valet parking but the front desk staff listened and made it right so really couldn’t ask for more. Overall an incredible property.

Didn’t like that there were no dressers with drawers. We were staying 10 days and didn’t want to dig through our suitcases everyday. Much prefer drawers as opposed to your shelves.
