I chose this place because of its proximity to the water, and it delivered. The mere pictures and video of the unit can't capture the true essence of the place. You have to really be there to experience how amazing you will feel, when you are in the place and taking in the view and sounds of the ocean, sunsets, rocks, and immaculate foliage & landscaping. My favorite view was actually from the inside of the condo (you have to pull the curtains all the way back), while eating dinner around sunset time. Mornings were great, too, while simply hanging out on the back porch. (Don't feed the many birds that hang out with you in the early morning.) The two bathrooms were very important to my family and they were great, with the exception of the mold stains on curtain in the master bathroom. They didn't bother me because they were just stains, but they bothered my SO. Beds and furniture were all very comfortable. One of my kids loved the hot tub by the pool. The pool was very nice, too. Unlike what some previous posters have mentioned, it's not unbearably hot in the unit. In fact, it's very moderate in terms of temperature. Just open the windows and run the fans and you will be fine (although I couldn't get one of the fans in the main living area to work--but I didn't need it anyway). Evenings are actually kid of chilly, if you let the cross-breeze go through the condo. Also, unlike what a few previous posters mentioned, it was very quiet for the entire duration of our stay. Kitchen has all the utensils and cooking items that you will need, if you are one that prefers to cook all your meals. The host was very responsive and helped quickly resolve minor problems. I thought it was weird that I got the code to the lock via a packet in an email attachment, rather than through the VRBO site, and the lock brand is actually different from the one described in the packet, but the minor difference is easy to figure out. The so-called small sandy beach near the condo unit is washed out, which I'm guessing happened during the hurricane/tropical storm that happened a few weeks before we arrived. I didn't go snorkeling or surfing in the water near the condo, but I saw a few (not many) doing so, and I thought they were insane because of how the waves crashed into the rocky shoreline. I thank VRBO and the host for providing a stay that will be a lifetime of good memories for my entire family.
