Payed £130 for the night. Outside hotel exterior is nice, however that ends as soon as you enter the premisise. Tired and dated, obvious that little work goes into the upkeep. Stayed in a lower-level room that smelt absolutley awful, the window was open upon arrival to obviously try and ventilate the smell. Stained carpets, marks on walls, evidence of damp on bathroom ceiling, musty water in iron made it stink, cupboard door was hanging off, blood spot on pillow, didnt use any of the kitchen facilites as place seemed unclean overall. While getting ready to leave, the reception called us twice at 10.25 and 10.27 to tell us to exit the room. Checkout 10.30, got to reception at 10.35 as interupted twice by pushy receptionist on phone.
We came for a concert during the tube strike so took the hotel out of despiration, as everywhere else was booked up. Only spent 4/5 hours actually sleeping in the hotel. If you just need a bed for the night, you could risk it, but if you are staying for any longer than one night, i wouldnt go here. 1*
