Checked in at 3 p.m. as stated, and when I got there, the room was not ready, and they did not know when it would be ready. I was on a tight schedule and was unable to wait, so they put us into another room which someone was already in! When we went back to reception, there was hardly an apology, and they were arguing between themselves, which was not professional. Then onto food, this was also disappointing. I ordered the ribeye steak, which I can say was not ribeye, and also came with chips which were soggy and some sauce that I can certainly say was nothing like peppercorn. After advising a member of staff, they redone the chips, which were the same, and then had the cheek to put a service charge on the bill even though I had no service apart from them bringing it over ! All in all, a very disappointing experience and below par for what I expected from this hotel.

Great hotel and nice breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Location was close to bus stops and Regents Park as well as Lord's cricket ground.

Shame about breakfast staff.

Super family room, clean and well-maintained. Staff friendly at check-in and check-out. Excellent breakfast, although after a late night we were rushing breakfast - staff were putting things away before 11am and had to be asked for bread to make toast and butter. We were then asked to leave at 11 while eating. Unusual as hotels usually give you some time to finish eating, staff were really unfriendly in the breakfast room. Excellent coffee but only managed one cup by taking it up to our room with us! Felt about as welcome as fart in a spacesuit.

A lovely property right next door to Lord's Cricket Ground. Excellent roomy, regal accommodation, however you certainly pay for it! Dining available in a pleasant atmosphere, but expensive on top of accommodation. Concierge service excellent. Lifts, very small, and very slow with 2/3 working.

Overall a good hotel and the staff were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast buffet had most of the things we like and the location was very good. About 15 minute walk to closest tube station and a bus stop was pretty much right outside. The first night there were very loud noises in the middle of the night due to emergency work in the underground. Not really the hotel's fault but it was definitely not a nice noise to be woken up to and it lasted for over an hour.

Really lovely hotel, well kept and looked after. Really good transport links to tube stations one bus stop literally a two minute walk from the hotel. London zoo isn’t far away either alongside the beautiful Regent’s Park perfect for a picnic and some sightseeing. The room itself was very clean with a comfortable king bed and modern bathroom, it was serviced regularly with a fresh large bottle of drinking water provided each day to pop in the fridge alongside biscuits for tea and coffee plus shampoo, soap and body wash. Air conditioning was really good and quiet we were able to use it throughout the night without it bothering us at all and the window could be opened for some fresher air if needed. On check out we could also leave our bags with the reception free of charge which were locked away in a safe keeping room until we were ready to leave. Would definitely stay here again!

A nice mofdest hotel

The hotel is clean and nice. One of the 3 elevatots was brokem all week when we were there, resulting in lomg lines all over. The breakfast was SUPERB, and there are busses neraby to city center.
