The room was perfectly clean, but for a 4 star hotel I was expecting slightly better to be honest. The biggest problem was the radiator - which was locked on 100% heat 100% of the time, which meant although the window was as open as it would go, the room temperature must have been over 30 degrees, which was quite uncomfortable - in the end I had the air conditioning unit on full but this barely did anything and produced more noise than cool air. On top of this, I tried to make a cold glass of water from the tap, but the cold side was very warm. Finally, though somewhat nit-picking - it would have been nice to have a bedside table, as the plug on the headboard meant I had to balance my phone on the bed overnight to charge which wasn't ideal. I did receive a courtesy call from the reception desk around 7pm, which was nice, but even though I told them about the over-bearing heat nothing was done to resolve this, which again added to the overall disappointment really. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again, nor would I recommend this establishment to any of my friends or colleagues.

The description for the room I booked on Expedia said it had a desk, but the hotel does not have desks in that category. Listing should be updated. The room was extremely tiny. Cute but very small. In addition, although I have Gold status with Expedia, the hotel did not receive that info so none of the VIP perks were offered. Staff at the hotel were great and location is fabulous

Nice property close to Lancaster Gate tube , on a quiet residential street away from main road. Friendly welcome and attentive staff. Nice range of Rituals toiletries available came as a nice surprise . Will definitely use for regular trips.

There was an issue with our room upon check in, and because the hotel was fully booked due to a big summer concert happening at Wembley, they had to separate our party into separate rooms our first night. My poor sister was stuck in the basement of the hotel next to the gym and only one other guest room. Her air conditioning also didn’t work, and she did not feel safe at a ground level room keeping a window open at night. My mom and I were in a room with working AC, but the smallest room known to mankind. Thankfully the larger suite we’d booked was ready for us the second night. The hotel itself was disappointing for these reasons, but the hotel staff we encountered were INCREDIBLE. They were very helpful, gave us breakfast and drink vouchers and tried to make up for the inconvenience. But the inconvenience and lack of feeling safe in one of the bedrooms was pretty disappointing.

Over all it’s not a bad hotel. The staff are all very nice and polite and the breakfast is great, However I did experience a few problems- The cold water was coming out hot and the shower did not heat up adequately for a proper shower. The room had had laminate flooring put down so every time you lent up the headboard the bed slipped across the floor. Due to the flooring their was a lot of noise from all the rooms around you so not much sleep, The rooms are very tired and in need of a make over, the bathroom was way too small. I think quantity of rooms has out wade comfort I would have paid more for a bigger room. Also one night I I scratched my leg causing it to bleed (NOT THE HOTELS FAULT) but mine, this led to blood been on the duvet, the room was cleaned the next day but the clearly blood stained duvet cover was not replaced, a bit disappointing.

Solo traveler here to give honest review! Pros: great location (tube: 5 mins to Lancaster Gate, 10 to Paddington - connects to Heathrow Express), lots of restaurant options, great breakfast buffet daily, nice lobby/bar area, willing to upgrade and check in early if available (sign up for BW rewards beforehand!). Cons: the construction going on next door starts at 8am, sound travels in this building so bring earplugs and download a good sound app if you plan to sleep in. No outlet in bathroom, housekeeping sometimes replaced your washcloths and toilet paper and sometimes didn't. A/C controlled by front desk. If you want it to circulate fan air, ask them to turn it on.

Fantastic location to Hyde Park and 2 tube stations (Lancaster Gate and Paddington). Close to restaurants and a good coffee shop right inside the gate of Hyde Park. We enjoyed that the area was peaceful to come back to after long days of sightseeing. Front desk staff was hit or miss, some being exceptionally helpful and nice, while others were not. Housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in an executive suite. Though not large it was sufficient for the three of us. My only complaint would be the ac was not efficient at all. Fortunately, we were gone in the daytime when it was at its hottest. We were able to open the only window to cool things off at night. Overall, a good stay and would definitely recommend the area.
