I spent two nights at the Mornington Kensington this week. Firstly, it’s an ideal location with excellent public transport links close by to explore the local tourist hotspots. Based on my observations not only do I consider it to be the smartest building on Penywern Road I also consider it to be worthy of 5-stars all-round. My room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and the heating control system on the wall meant I was able to very easily adjust the temperature to my preference. The bathroom was very modern, functional and toiletries from one of my favourite brands were provided as a courtesy. I was also pleasantly surprised to find an ironing board, iron and a hairdryer in the cupboard, all of which I made good use of during my stay. I found all staff members to be polite, professional, and extremely happy to go out of their way to accommodate each and every one of my service requests! On a final note, based on my experience I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was so so nice and such a great deal for the price compared to options in London. Unfortunately, I had a mishap with luggage storage, but the staff were very helpful and understanding in helping sort it out. It’s in a great area, was an excellent room, comfy bed, and great service. I would just ask if they have improved their luggage storage if you plan on utilizing that option.

Alarms going off at 2:30 am. Doors slamming at all hours. Very tiny rooms with sinks that are so small they are unusable. Tiny shower. Not enough shelving in bathroom. Creaky floors in hallways.

I had a 2 bed room which was pretty spacious. The bathroom was very nice with a large shower. The street was quiet and very convenient to shopping and restaurants just down the street. Due to the tube strike we could not use Earls Court but it's just around the corner. If you need a rail line West Brompton is only about a 10 min Uber ride to the hotel. Staff was very nice and the lobby is also very nice. We did not utilize the bar area but it also looked very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Its a nice little building conveniently close to the subway but not In a super busy area of london , which is nice. Still in area 1 but just at the edge of it when you need a break from crowds but still close enough to things and plenty of good places to eat nearby and safe streets. My room was tiny, as expected , but really lovely, and the staff were really helpful and just all around great. :)

The hotel is clean, comfortable, calm and very welcoming. All the team members I interacted with, from reception to housekeeping to the restaurant staff at breakfast were helpful, professional and friendly. The breakfast choices were very good and plentiful. My room was comfortable - especially the bed! - and while the shower was indeed tiny, the water pressure and bathroom overall were great. The location, literally a three-minute walk from Earl's Court tube station, was ideal to get literally anywhere. I'd definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends and family travelling to London.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but there were a few inconveniences. After we had already checked in and settled into our room, we got a call informing us that we needed to switch rooms the next day. We’re not sure why this wasn’t mentioned at check-in. Since we were staying for five days, it made it hard to fully settle in from the beginning—especially because we were both feeling a bit under the weather. On the positive side, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great—walking distance to restaurants and with easy access to transportation. The room itself felt a little worn, with noticeable scuff marks on the walls, and the shower was quite small. Still, it was a good stay overall, and I would stay here again.
