I'm not a big fan of small and warm rooms, but I only needed an overnight before leaving London. This hotel is well located and Marylebone, near the Bakerloo tube.

The breakfast was great. The reception staffs were lovely, good customer service. The toilet/shower was clean but I was grossed out by the bedsheets. Found a couple hair on the bedsheet and specs of dust, it just didn’t look it was clean. Didnt really sleep well because of it.

****READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING A ROOM!!!**** The rooms are very small. Check the previous reviews and also the room square footage provided on Expedia’s website in the hotel room descriptions when booking your room. For us, we had two checkin size suitcases and two backpacks. We had to have items removed from the room and empty one of the suitcase contents and place the contents in a closet in order to be able to fit our items in the room. The room felt claustrophobic the whole time and detracted from our stay. Luckily, we were out on tours during our stay and only were in the room to sleep and shower. Please take this into account when booking a room so there are no surprises like we encountered when we stayed here. The location is very good with local restaurants and stores.

Loved the Blandford. Clean, friendly and wonderful location near lots of restaurants and Shops. Close to subway and buses. Jo and Sabrina were very helpful and helped us with transportation and recommendations. Nice morning breakfast too!

I chose the Blandford Hotel for its convenient location, as it was close to where I needed to be over a two-day stay. Check-in was smooth, and the room was reasonably clean. However, the temperature control in the room was unreliable. It fluctuated between too hot and too cold, which made it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. The real disappointment came after my stay. I accidentally left an item behind and contacted the hotel to see if they could check for it. Unfortunately, the staff were unhelpful and showed little interest in assisting. They said they would follow up, but I never heard back. This lack of basic customer service left a poor impression and is the main reason for the lower rating.

It was awful. The first room they put us in, the bathroom door was broken and very unstable. It wouldn't close. We told the desk and the manager? came to our room and advised that he already knew about it and was trying to arrange for it to be fixed. Not sure why they put us into a room which they knew was not fit for purpose. We asked to be moved and they did ... into the basement. It was tiny. I am sure it must have originally been a single. You could barely move around the bed! The sockets were loose in the wall, and the room stank of damp. There was mould on the lampshades and along the bottom of the walls. And the window looked out into the emergency exit . At night the emergency lights came on and shone straight into our room. Even with the curtains closed, the light came in through the sides. And in the morning, everyone had to walk past our room to the breakfast room. It was noisy. Never again. I don't think this room was fit for habitation at all and am tempted to get environmental services to have a look!
