FIX YOUR DAMN KEY CARDS - HORRIBLE!
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. It's just fine with one horrible exception. The key cards DO NOT WORK! On this trip, they put me a very long walk from the elevators, not a problem. but, in three days, I went thru 9 key cards. I kept them away from my phone, etc. They JUST DO NOT WORK! Front desk admitted on going continuous problems. Really IRRITATING! They ought to comp rooms. I did not even get an apology. This totally sucks and unless they fix it, I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! it's their encoders, FIX IT DAMMIT! Otherwise, decent home, nice stay, nice staff.

The location is perfect for me which is why I keep going there and many aspects of the hotel are good but the room service is poor. When they do it they do not clean or replace used glasses or coffee mugs and do not refresh the tea bags coffee sachets etc. This has been the case every time I've stayed. So much so I brought extra tea bags extra milk and some biscuits of my own. To date I have not spoken with any of the chamber women who speak English so they do not know what I'm asking them to do. I also asked reception to ask housekeeping to bring an additional toilet tissue that never happened so I went into the corridor stopped one of them chamber women and asked her to give me one. Not enough to make me change my mind as the location is unique for me

Had high hopes for the hotel with it being a Hilton and having stayed in several before. Upon arrival check in took much longer than expected. When arriving to our room there was no milk to make a hot drink and we also did not get complementary water like we noticed others were. The room itself we had no issues with aside from the noise from the room next door and also in the hallway around 4am but the room was clean and spacious. Didn’t use the facilities of the restaurant or bar so cannot comment on those.

Comfy bed, pitch dark and very quiet room facing the parking quad. Appreciated the iron, hairdryer, paper (as opposed to digital) room info folder and plentiful toiletries. Friendly staff on arrival and the infamous warm cookie. Let down by stains on the carpet and broken shelf in the bathroom.

In general it looked okay. Everything was relatively clean and tidy. The rooms were well decorated although the two oddly sized beds were peculiar I.e too big to be classed as singles, but too small for a couple to be comfortable. The bathroom was okay although the water never seemed to get nice and hot and it had a damp smell every time I went in. The digital key is always useful and I use it whenever I can. But in this hotel, despite checking in online through the app and having a digital key to open the room, I still had to queue at reception to obtain a plastic keycard for my room so that I could use the lifts because they haven’t been upgraded to digital key. So all a bit useless and a waste of time.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the room was very tired - stains on the carpet, old fashioned and very few additions (there were tea & coffee making facilities but only enough for one drink of each, no fresh water and no biscuits which I believe to be a basic requirement - I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t provide these, even Travelodge. The TV offered very limited channels. This is not Hilton standards really) Great location

We reached London at 8 AM. The staff were wonderful enough to allow us to check in early. I chose this location because it’s very close to St Pancras station. About 5 minutes away by car. I’d book this place again the next time we’re in London

Great location near angel tube station and the heart of Islington. The property is in need of a pip. The desk chair in my room was broken, fixtures and carpet worn throughout the property. Non rfid keys. Housekeeping and reception staff were superb. Would stay here again but hope they choose to reinvest the property
