This is a lovely find. Convenient to trains and tube in a neighborhood with exceptional dining choices. Very nice room - a challenge to.find in London.

Marketed as a three star hotel at a discount, it quickly became extremely obvious that this was a 2 star hotel I was paying full price for. The lock on my door broke so I was locked out for two hours and then had to switch rooms, the staff were mostly quite unhelpful, and the walls were quite thin so I could hear my neighbors quite clearly. I would strongly dissuade others from booking here.

The Garden Court is good value for the money. The location is excellent, within walking distance of great restaurants and two underground stations. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are small, but adequate.

Nice hotel but for hot weather
Had I traveled in winter or fall or any other cooler weather, I would give this hotel a rating of 10. Unfortunately I stayed at the top floor room during a couple of hot days, the room is too hot without AC. I think that the owner will need to invest some money to either provide portable AC or give discount for hot weather stay... perhaps the rooms at lower level are ok for hot days, not sure. Location is perfect, and neighborhood is nice. No AC is a big issue for hot weather stays at the top floor

Great little hotel in a good, quiet location. Close to tube stations, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Small compact bathroom but everything we needed including a decent powerful shower. Breakfast was okay - breakfast room was a bit small so not enough space for all guests comfortably. No AC in room which was a little uncomfortable on a hot day but we did have a fan.

Avoid the single bargain room, too good to be true
So before I go into more detail about this, I need to stress that I took a cheap single bedroom that was at an excellent price for the location (and I've factored that into the star rating quite heavily!). I regularly take such rooms and take them at face value, however, this was a bit of a push. The room was in a basement with a separate toilet meaning I had to get dressed in the night if I needed to use it. Now I say toilet, not bathroom because the shower itself was in the room and I believe there was a leak behind it that dripped throughout the night. Second to that is that I'm sure the room used to be some sort of laundry room as it was clearly next to the boiler for the property, which was kicking out some heat. Thankfully there was air conditioning. But that leads me to number three, in that the air conditioning unit is immediately outside the room in a courtyard, along with a number of other units. It was therefore not a quiet stay. Now for the price and the location I'll reiterate, for some people it would be ideal and I understand the pressure for businesses to make use of every space. However, this room is just a step too far. Otherwise, the check in staff were friendly, the access was easy and the location was superb. I would not be surprised at all if all other rooms in the hotel were up to a high standard.

Good location, okay hotel.
Hotel was okay and close to Bayswater underground station. Area was nice with good shops and eatieries. The room was compact but as a base that little time was being spent in, it was manageable. Breakfast was disappointing - limited choice and limited space in the dining room. Due to the cramped space diners had to get up from their table to allow others to get to theirs/the food area. It was disorganised and chaotic, making it not a very relaxing experience. Staff were friendly and were accommodating with regards to us leaving luggage before check-in and after check-out.

Great budget hotel
2 day work trip. Managed to book double room as it was on offer. This hotel is normally out of my budget. Room was compact but very nice.. modern decor in room and bathroom. Excellent rain shower 🚿. Room was rather warm but windows open and there was a fan if needed. Included free breakfast from 7.30 to 9.30 but I never got to try. Would definitely stay again if the offer come up.
