Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The TV/coffee tea area was not well lit, the TV was at a slightly uncomfortable angle for viewing from the bed. We only had bath sheets on the last day, the shower towels prior were rather small. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The flower arrangements in the lobby were lovely!

Great location in London and conveniently next to the Aldgate underground station. The room we had was a bit tight (not much space around the bed), but worked out. Staff was nice and helpful

The hotel itself is very nice and modern but the service was awful. This was the only hotel out of 4 during my trip who wanted to charge me for laundry service and the price was ridiculous. We also tried to go up to the sky bar and we're told it was too busy and if we're staying in the hotel to "try another night", which wouldn't be possible if we were leaving in the morning. What a terrible way to treat your guests. The service at the Cardinal restaurant was the only good service in the entire place. Would not recommend.

Excellent stay in a great location
We had an incredible stay with an upgrade to a suite. This is the best place we've stayed in London and especially for the price - we don't normally stay anywhere too fancy in London due to being way out of budget, but we were really impressed and the service was fantastic from everyone we dealt with during our stay. We also ate in the restaurant which was excellent and took advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails. The rooftop bar has phenomenal views but pricey as per London. It couldn't be in a better location either, just a 10 min walk from Liverpool Street station, and literally next door to Aldgate station.

Fantastic hotel awful sky bar..
Amazing stay from start finish. We also ate in the restaurant twice both time lovely. Service was first class. Only negative was that the sky bar advertised is not connected to the Hotel and has broken chairs, a notice saying bifold doors are unsafe, loud music and substandard expensive drinks. Service awful! Rude staff. Avoid it at all costs and let’s down the hotel sadly.

Lovely Hotel - slight electrical issue
The hotel was lovely in the main, not sure that the bed was King Size as it looked like a double to us. The only concerning negative was that the lights went out in our room as I was just about to get ready to go out to the rooftop bar within the hotel. I attempted to call reception for 10 minutes before anyone answered. The maintenance engineer came up and flicked the trip switch stating that this is common occurrence if you plug the hairdryer in etc to which I had not at that point!!!! The breakfast was of a good standard and the hotel staff were really friendly. The Rooftop Bar Jin Bo Law is definitely worth a visit as that was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that you had a great time.

Convenient hotel for getting around. Clean and well decorated. Only issue was checking in, very pleasant guy but he spoke so quietly and fast I couldn’t hear what he said, I kept asking for him to repeat but gave up on the end.

Super helpful receptionist helped us checked in late. Got a comp upgrade too. Loved the comp mini bar as well. Nice room, lovely pillows and a good size. Only issue with room was the air con was on low and room very chilly. Also breakfast was a small issue with the service which meant it took 45 minutes to get breakfast.

Fantastic stay
Fantastic location - right next to a tube stop, couple of tube stops from King’s Cross. Lovely and clean, staff very helpful and friendly. The bed is super comfortable and the rooms very nice and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.
