Upon arriving they checked me in a room were the AC is out of service and the mini fridge doesn’t work. After complaining they moved me to another room were same problems exists. I had to wait for the service team to come over and fix the problems. The room are small and doesn’t worth the high price. The hotel is old and the lounge is not private

I was disappointed as I expected this property to be similar to other Marriott locations. It’s an old building that was likely bought from another chain. The carpets are dingy and worn. The furniture is also dated, circa late 80s. The room thermostat was broken so we had no air conditioning or heat but thankfully the weather was cool so it wasn’t needed. The staff were helpful and were the saving grace. I wouldn’t stay here again though, despite the central location.

The property claims that parking available but doesn’t mention if it’s included or has extra charges. It was so expensive to park at the property’s car park. £8 an hour. No electric car chargers available. Don’t get deceived by pictures, the room and bathroom are not that big as it shows in pictures. We were a bit disappointed to see the room and narrow toilet. The very noisy air conditioning/air-heater was not pleasant to sleep in.

I booked a king, on arrival none was available but they didnt tell me that. They claimed I was to be put in a bigger family room with a queen and clained it was an "upgrade". When I saw the room I immediately asked to be moved to what I did actually book, they had to come clean. Admitted they didnt have one but would move me first thing the next day and add 10,000pts to my Bonvoy as an appology. I did get the room move late afternoon the next day but never received the promised points for the inconvenience. Sloppy service from a Marriott. Asid from that the hotel is well located and whilst old, it is well maintained.

With taxes and fees my four nights at Marriott Marble Arch cost $2,425, $606.25 a night. For $606 dollars a night, I expected this hotel to be exceptional. What an absolute disappointment. The room's (room 420) air conditioner did not work. I called the front desk and was given a portable AC unit. This required the sliding door to be open for the vent hoses. Edgware Road is VERY loud on the weekends (revving motorcycles) which didn't allow for restful sleep. Additionally, the room had black mold, torn wallpaper and a spring mattress that must have been placed in the room in 1965. It was literally dipped that the bedding couldn't even hide how worn it was. The Marriott brand should be ashamed to be associated with hotel and whoever is the operator is surely rolling in coins because they've done zero updating to this worn out hotel.
