Friendly welcome, efficient & secure luggage storage. Room was upgraded (thank you!). Room lovely & clean, good kitchenette facilities, air con / heating responsive. Superb shower & toiletries. Room was cleaned over a 4 day stay. Great location, easy access to South Bank & the river but also to tube line for exploring further, lots of mini marts & cafe’s for breakfast. A vibrant part of London but the room was super quiet - we weren’t disturbed by any noise. A really really lovely hotel, we will stay there again & recommend it to friends & family. Thank you!

Beautiful Hotel

Modern rooms, very comfortable beds. Quiet, room was on first floor facing street and heard no traffic noise. Front desk staff is excellent, helpful and welcoming. Convenient location, one block away from pedestrian street with food galore.

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was very very good. The staff, including the bartenders in the hotel pub were fantastic. Everyone was helpful and the Tube is soooo close. Great stay and when we come back to London we will stay there again!!

I’ve stayed in many London hotels over the last decade, usually on the other side of the river. I’m so glad I switched to Waterloo. Access to transport is excellent, as are restaurant and pub choices. Rooms at the Marlin are larger than I’ve experienced, and mine even had a small kitchenette. This will be my go-to for accommodation in London.

This hotel is ok in a great central London location. Probably its strength. Room was clean. I think from pictures presents itself as a high end hotel but services and breakfast were on the budget side. I would not come back personally but it is an ok hotel.
