Upon entering I realized the picture shown when booking was the picture of the apartments not the hotel . Which is unfair and misleading . The fridge didn’t work and I had to have a maintenance guy come in while I wasn’t there to replace it . They left tools behind and took one of my key cards : the front desk replaced my key card but it was still a bit frightening knowing someone had my key card. You can use their washing machines for free but have to pay for dryers The area around has homeless people and trash all over the ground . I wouldn’t recommend staying here , I did walk past the apartments for marlin and they looked nicer from the outside . The desk was broken in my room , the shower floor has pink mold on it , there was a half used bar of soap in the shower , when cleaning services came they didn’t clean much . The mattress cover under the sheet had a dark brown stain on it . The staff constantly mis gendered me . If you are unsure please just say hello instead of ma’am or sir .

This is an amazing hotel in a very convenient location. It is within easy walking distance of London Eye and Westminster but it is also super easy to get public transport to the heart of central London (Piccadilly/Oxford Street). Lambeth North underground station is very close and multiple bus routes stop at the nearby bus stop. The hotel is modern and very clean. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The self check in and check out system is simple and very efficient and there are also very friendly staff on hand to assist. I will definitely book here again when I am next in London.

There is nothing bad you can tell about this property, and the staffs are awesome. Everything is walking distance away and you can't ever find a property like this in central London. Next time, when I visit London. I won't dare to look any other property than Martin Waterloo. In house Laundry service, good food and pubs nearby, the staff are all very helpful. Thank you very much. I bet a great team work make this success. Kudos to all you staff and management. Great job...

The Good: The best part of this hotel is its access to public transportation. The Waterloo train line is across the street. There are many buses that pass on the same street as the hotel and one or two streets over. There are also grocery stores and many restaurants and cafés near by. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant but i didnt use those so I cant comment. The lobby of the hotel is pretty nice and they will hold your bag for you while you wait for check in. The bad: My hotel room was not properly cleaned. There was someone else's hair by the toilet and on one of the towels. One of the night stand drawers had someone's left over receipts and random items. The staff did not do a thorough cleaning at all.

Hotel is in a good spot, room was ready when arrived at 2.15pm, but to check in before 3pm you had to pay £10 or wait. Very disappointing as room was ready and effectively robbing their clients with sheer greed.
