Hotel was easy to check in with staff, didn’t have to use screens. Room was ready when we arrived. The room size was small for 3 adults with luggage. The bed was okay I’ve slept in a lot worse, pillows were so comfortable I wanted one for home. Only issue we had was the shower, the pressure was great but the drain was slow and backed up. Housekeeping checked it and said it was fine. Location was very convenient for site seeing and some great local places to eat. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.

We had a really great stay at the Marlin Waterloo as a family of four, but what truly made the experience stand out was the amazing service from Sezoi Con. We ran into him a few times during our stay—he was working as a bartender and also helped us out with a few things, including checkout. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and just genuinely kind. What really stood out to us was how great he was with our kids—super patient, welcoming, and made them feel special every time we saw him. It’s not often you come across someone who leaves such a positive impression, but Sezoi really did. The hotel was lovely, but thanks to him, our stay felt even more special. Big thanks to Sezoi—he’s a real star!

Perfect hotel - highly recommend!

Highly recommend this fabulous hotel! All staff were lovely and so welcoming, great room, ammenities and location too. So convenient that we could leave luggage before check in too, meant we could start our day early without lugging a case around. It's our first visit to Marlin and we'll definitely be back! My partner and I recently stayed at Marlin Waterloo and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is lovely, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Our bedroom was excellent, equipped with a kitchen that included a hob, dishwasher, and kitchen sink. It was very clean and well-maintained, which added to our comfort during the stay. Overall, we were very impressed with Marlin Waterloo and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
