Great but could have been better
We had an upgrade from a double to a super king, bed was very comfortable & duvet was very snug & warm. Negatives for us were minor but no pen or paper in the room, no biscuits with tea/coffee (ltd milk) Bathroom - No conditioner for my wifes hair (normal to provide both shampoo & conditioner imho) & they were high so in the bath you couldn't access as easily if they had been lower (would have still been accessible if showering at that height) I had breakfast & have to say it was plentiful & a good range of food/drinks on offer. 100% ideal if attending the RAH as i was a very short walk away (10mins) Great location & would use again.

Spacious room with good location
Overall we love family room with 2 big double beds, 35 sq.m. is very nice. Water in shower and bathtubToilet. We walk to Natural History museum and National Science museum almost every day. Great location for going around, just right in front of Glouchester tube station. Hotel has bellboy to help carry luggages to room. The only minus for us is reception is difficult to reach by phone.

Aging hotel but good location..
The hotel is in a great location for the Royal Albert Hall. It’s annoying having to wait for the lift . I prefer to use the stairs but it was not obvious where they were. The room had an adjoining room where the occupants had their tv on until the early hours which disrupted my sleep Breakfast was at best average. Limited choice of hot food which was not replenished quickly enough. When it was it was cold.

I was upgraded to a Millenium Club room but you wouldn’t know it. Bathroom door swollen so would not shut, 3 out of 4 lights above bed not working, no bedside lights. Very basic. Waited 15 minutes to be served in bar. Had to call waiter as completely ignored.

Disappointing room not 4 star quality.
We had to leave within hours of registration due to personnel reasons which meant only a few hours in the room. However, what we did see of the room did not impress. For a 4 star it was dated and in poor condition. When you walk into reception you think wow and expect outstanding. However, the carpets to the room are worn and the ones in the room are very tired looking. There has been remedial work done in the room and the decor has just not been made up. The bathroom is very tired and nothing special and the furniture in the room is well worn. For a 4 star this room is definitely maximum of 2 star room.
