Situated right behind the London Eye this is a confortable hotel with good size rooms (we even had a kitchenette and living room). View of Shard and of Waterloo tracks. Couldn’t hear neighbors or any other noises. G would come again.

I booked two penthouse suites at Park Plaza County Hall London expecting the views advertised in the photos – London Eye, Big Ben, and the city skyline. Unfortunately, the view from our rooms was of the subway station and distant buildings, which was very disappointing. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean, but very dated. The biggest issue for me was the service when we first arrived. We had just landed after a long flight, four of us with four large suitcases. At check-in, the front desk agent directed us away from the three large elevators right in front of the desk and told us to use an elevator further down the hallway, saying it would be “better” and quicker for us. We trusted her advice only to discover that she had sent us to the service elevator – which was much smaller and inconvenient for our luggage. Later, when I confronted her, she claimed that only one of the three main elevators goes to the top floor, which I later realized was not true – all three elevators go to the penthouse level. It left me questioning why we were directed there in the first place, especially when no offer of assistance with our luggage was made. As visitors from the U.S., I couldn’t help but wonder if we were treated differently because we were foreigners. Overall, this was a very disappointing start to our stay, and the hotel did not live up to expectations in terms of service, upkeep, or advertised views.

The staff was able to accommodate our check in 2+ hours early and was very friendly. Great location! Easy for taxi pickups. The hotel was clean and in a safe location that was convenient and walkable to surrounding restaurants and Elizabeth tower. A little over a mile to Buckingham Palace.

We had an amazing stay! Our room was clean, spacious and we had a great view of the eye. The location is very convenient to a lot of major attractions in London. We also ate breakfast at the restaurant-food was good and service was great! Highly recommend this hotel!

The property is conveniently located and works well if your trip is centered around business, but I would not recommend it for families. I booked a double-bed room, but was given a single bed with a pull-out sofa, which was very uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also a major issue. The room was not cleaned the first day, and someone entered without knocking while I was inside in my underwear and my children were playing in the living area. This felt extremely unsafe and inappropriate. I was then promised service the next morning between 9–10 AM, but housekeeping didn’t show up until 4 PM, right when my kids needed to nap. At that point, I was very disappointed and frustrated, and all we were offered in compensation was two bottles of water. While most of the staff were friendly, the overall experience did not match the cost of the stay, and I would not choose this property again.
