Room key didn’t work and had to go up and down three times before they figured it out. Bed only came with one pillow rather than two. Showerhead was squirting in all different directions.

Similar to others, I was slightly apprehensive before my stay because of negative reviews, but it was all for nothing because this hotel in my experience was FANTASTIC. The room and overall hotel were exactly a three-star hotel and at a great price, so if you are expecting a five-star experience on a three-star budget then you will be disappointed. If however you are perfectly content cleaning up after yourself and self-sufficient, you shouldn't find any problems with this hotel. It is in a very old part of London - of course the rooms will be small, and you will find pretty much the same in all the hotels in the area. Yes, the area is busy and you will hear noises both outside your window and in the hotel corridors - again you are in a very old building in a busy area, and frankly if you are over the age of 20 and have travelled at all and haven't already learnt to bring your own earplugs to unfamiliar places, that's on you. There were marks on the walls but if you've stayed in hostels at all and have experienced true budget conditions, you wouldn't even notice it. The room was clean, cute, well-maintained and the staff were fantastic, lovely and cheerful and very generous with handing over anything I asked for. Would highly recommend.

A shame as location is great
The room was very small for 3 of us air con had a leak shower plug didn’t drain very hot room window look straight into the landing which mean we had to have the curtains closed as the glass wasn’t opaque just plain it was a squeeze to get around the beds I scraped me back twice on the tv trying to get around the bed

Good location, just a few minutes walk from Paddington and therefore bus and tube services serving the city. Room was comfortable with the usual tea/coffee facilities and a fantastic rainfall shower.

Really nice property in an excellent location! Safe area, close to Hyde park and shopping. Some lovely restaurants and pubs close by and 5 min walk to Paddington. The only negative thing to say is get shower curtains. Those half glass walls do NOT do the trick and every shower creates a pool in the bathroom! Rubber was missing from bottom of the glass. Other than that fab stay!

We booked this hotel as we could use our Tesco vouchers and the location is great. All the lines are running. It has a tea and coffee facilities and overall great stay really.

The staff were really friendly. The decor is very dated, and the cleaning could be improved. No mattress protector or pillow protectors. I couldn’t hear the road as I was at the back of the property, which was good, although I could hear noise in other rooms though, someone showering at 2am woke me up. It’s not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, nor the best. The shower was powerful which was a bonus. Great location for Paddington and a good budget friendly price for a room in London

Very happy with our stay! Helpful and friendly staff. Property was tidy and clean. Only issue was there was a slight odd smell in the bathroom which we think was an issue with the drains and the shower was tiny. Otherwise great hotel! Would definitely stay there again!
