Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
The. Room had no written information about how equipment in the room worked.
-The TV did not work. I connected up the aerial.
- the phone did not work.
- The newish looking shower taps i could not work. I had to go out & find a cleaner to show me.
- there were 2 safes in the wardrobe., with no instructions. Neither was secured to any fixed object & could have easily been taken away. Despite having a maintenance man show me, i was not able to get it unlocked. Several other staff also tried & were unable to open it. I had to wait for the following day for it to be opened. There was uncertaity about which was the new safe vs the old safe. Thd keys were not available to staff.
- as the safe could not be opened., i had informed Reception that i needed items out of the safe, before i could pay the last 2 nights of my stay. That i would need to do so, only after the staffer came on duty & unlocked it. Despite this kniwledge, 1 staff xame to the door at 8.30am, with the credit card machine, askkng me to pay.
- i had to pay a damage fee. Despite this, there was no agreement or joint viewing of the room, to know what was preexisting. There were cracks in the walls & on the tile inside the bathroom door, there were broken drawers, the window only opened a tiny amount, perhaps painted in?
- however, the staff were lovely.
- overrall it was a very small room, with no room to put a suitcase open anywhere, except on the floor in the access way.
I expected better from your hotel.
