First impressions stay with you unfortunately. We checked in before our room was ready - absolutely no problem, On return, and after a very tiring day - we had to make 3 trips to and from reception as the key we were given didn’t work. No apology for the inconvenience. Maintenance then came and the issue fixed and he was very apologetic. We had to rescan our card for ‘extras’ and I didn’t like to see mine and other guests check in forms left on the front desk for all to see - a gdpr issue. Apart from the issue the room was very nice, good linen and bed, lovely shower & toiletries, very clean.

The property is located in a central area of the theater district of London. Most of the staff at the hotel gave helpful service. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a wide selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, salmon and pastries. Unfortunately, we needed to wait for our room to be ready and at 3:20pm were shown a room below the grade we had paid for. We needed to wait longer for that room, any other time this would not have been a problem but we had been traveling for over 20 hours and had an appointment to make, so it was frustrating that the room was not ready on time. I would stay at this hotel again as overall we enjoyed our time there.

Everything about our room for the 13 day stay was quite good, one minor exception was the blinds in the window being fixed in different positions. The bathroom was excellent, with a strong shower, and associated storage being good for our stay. The room lighting is good and fun, with the colors over the bed. The heating/cooling controls required 4 days of experimentation to partially figure out…a simpler more effective control should be on the to-do list, along with the blinds.

We had an amazing time at the hotel. The location was central and easily walkable to a lot of things, especially Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly circus. The stag was amazing and really helpful. The hotel was clean and had provided anything you can need. Would definitely stay again when in London

Comfortable, well appointed, and elegant, but also warm and accessible. Staff are wonderful, helpful and accessible. Room very comfortable, also the bed and linens are very high quality. A quiet spot in the crazy Covent Garden neighborhood with excellent hotel amenities surrounded by theatres, good restaurants and a quick walk to the National Gallery, Portrait Gallery, St. Martin in the Fields and English National Opera. A experience overall.
