The Clermont is a beautiful hotel. It is a classic old style but feels very updated inside. We chose the hotel due to its proximity to Victoria Station since we flew in from Gatwick and the Gatwick Express ends there. It could not have been more convenient. There are a couple nice bars and restaurants and walkable to many other things. It is a little busy when you step out the door but as soon as you enter the hotel you feel detached from that hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend the hotel

The staff was always very helpful. The room was clean and it was nice having a table and chairs to sit and eat a meal or snack. Buffet breakfast was fine. We had a lunch and a dinner in the attached restaurant Soak and the food was delicious. Since we were there 8 days we would have appreciated a bureau or dresser. We would definitely stay here again.

A pretty, well kept, classy hotel. Excellent service. Location is fabulous. Only drawback in the elevator systems and the OK walking required to get to your room as well as the showers which leaked all over the bathrooms.

Clermont Victoria has amazing staff!!!!! Jericho, Claire, Arnel, and our room keeper kept our room clean and supplied. Love the complimentary in room bar, the rooms have high ceiling!!! The beds were comfortable! The bathrooms are a bit small but it’s not bad. They have bathtub and showers and lots of hot water. The soak is a nice restaurant downstairs. The also serve buffet breakfast during the day. The hotel is close to everything! We walked everywhere! Safe area and restaurants around the hotel. The only thing is, the entrance of the hotel only has stairs, I don’t think I’ve seen ramps for if there’s somebody on wheelchair. For our luggages, they have to be lifted up the stairs, thank goodness Jericho is very helpful and helped us carry our luggages. The facility has elevators and beautiful grand entry way, we were greeted with a luxurious chandelier. I definitely will go back when we visit London again. Highly recommended!!!

I didn’t book the lowest level of room. I paid for a deluxe king bed-$400 USD a night in first week of September. 1. Although the hotel has elevators, you may be assigned a room that requires transferring to another set of elevators or using stairs after exiting the first one. We were not informed of this by the first front desk rep and we struggled with our luggage. 2. While the porters at the entrance are very helpful and enthusiastic about assisting with luggage up the steps, the bellhops standing around in the lobby seemed to enjoy watching us struggle. 3. I found hair on the bed. The bed sheets and pillowcases were stained, even after requesting a second clean set. I have no doubt they were washed but yet the stains are unsettling. However staff was nice- the second front desk rep. immediately changed my room after I complained about the noise from the night club below and being assigned to a room on a half-floor that required stairs after using the elevator. Additionally, both the restaurant managers, the Asian one ( who was genuinely concerned when he saw that I looked upset) and Edmond ( who was very accommodating) at breakfast were very kind. Something to keep in mind that the hotel can’t change. Uber cannot stop directly in front of the hotel, so when you arrive or depart with luggage, you will need to cross the street. So it will be another struggle if you have a lot of luggage.
