Hotel rooms and staff were lovley. We were down for a weekend. Communication through Hotels.com system was not good. Note for others... rooms at the front suffer from very loud road/street noise until around 3am. So very little sleep. This is not the fault of the hotel but I would not book a location in Central London again.

Lovely boutique hotel
Perfectly situated in walking distance of many attractions and theatres. Very friendly and helpful check-in staff. Our room was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. I only gave 4 stars overall because breakfast was a huge disappointment. Due to refurbishment, only an in room very limited continental from Gails’s was provided and we were only given a day’s notice about this despite booking in June.

Excellent stay with a very accommodating staff. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are headed to London and want to be within walking distance of attractions, transportation and dining. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was very modern and useful even though a little small. AC worked great. We did not use the restaurant in hotel as there were many options nearby for breakfast.

Great stop got emails before my stay with instructions and if it was a special occasion,also if arriving early that you could check in and leave bags with them, before official check in at 3 so that helped a lot and not dragging cases around with you once checked they where brought to you room. Definattly recommend

We’ve stayed at this hotel before, it’s in a great location, staff are attentive and polite, that’s why we chose to stay there again. Booked our stay, to include breakfast, on arrival in reception, it sounded a bit like a building site. Whilst waiting for our room the manager apologized about the noise and explained that they were making changes to the restaurant. When we were given our key card we asked about breakfast, the staff member didn’t know what was happening, he told us that generally people complained that the restaurant was too small and they had to queue for breakfast, so they were making changes to make it bigger. I asked about our breakfast and he said he’d find out. We went out to the city and on our return he gave us a list of available breakfast via room service, which was yogurt, pastry and tea/coffee. We were very disappointed, as we had paid for a full breakfast, and they hadn’t given us prior warning. We had to then go out every morning and find/pay for breakfast somewhere else. It took until the last morning for them to organize a refund, which didn’t cover the cost of a breakfast elsewhere. It’s a shame they didn’t tell us beforehand. We could have made other arrangements.

The staff was amazing. They contacted me before arrival to ask if there was a special occasion I was celebrating. Even though there wasn’t they still provided a bottle of wine upon arrival. The area was easy to navigate - close to 3 underground stations and within walking distance (1-2 km) of major attractions.

Very Small Room and Bathroom
So first off, the location is great it's walking distance to everything and easy to get everywhere, if you are looking to see the main sites and go to some West End shows this is a great spot. I made my reservation about two months in advance, I picked the deluxe room with a queen bed. When I checked in the person at the counter said I was in a double room. I tried to correct them and mentioned I ordered a deluxe, they were very short with me and very quickly said "its a double" now I didn't know maybe it was a term they used or something, Well I'm pretty sure they gave me the wrong room. The room I got was very small I had about a foot and a half on either side of the bed to move. There was barely enough room to put my suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was extremely small, the toilet was right up against the door frame, so you had to sit awkwardly, you also couldn't have the door closed and dry off without banging into something. The bed I got was also a double not a queen. The hotel emailed me shortly after check in and said to let them know of any issues, so I emailed back and mentioned that I thought I was put in the wrong room, but I never did hear back from them, and after a couple days passed I didn't think it appropriate to bring it up again. Location was good though and the room served its purpose but it was very tight.
