So close to many dining opportunities and shops as well as tourist attractions. So walkable. Be aware that a room with two beds won’t get you a room with a view. Some staff were friendly but not responsive when we called down for a couple items we needed. Overall a beautiful hotel and great location.

I’ve seen a few mixed reviews but we had a very good experience. Efficient and polite check in and we were upgraded free to a lovely King room with a river view. I’d told them in advance it was my husband’s birthday (a big one) and they surprised us with a bottle of bubbles in our room. Furniture is perhaps a little dated, but we had a fantastic view of the river and a very comfy bed. No complaints here!

Amazing location

The hotel was amazing the location was in the city Center super convenient to site see and near many train stations. We had a room with a wonderful view of the eye, but for safety reason the window cannot open all the way. But again waking up with the view, we never closed our shades.

This is a great hotel in an amazing location. Easy walking distance from transport and being in Whitehall, just around the corner from Trafalgar Sq and Downing St. The staff are very polite and helpful. Definitely recommend by us.

It was a nice, hotel and well located for the theatre. The downside for me as a bigger person is the bathroom sink is far large and directly opposite the towel heater creating a narrow passage for you to pass through and not burn yourself. Apart from that it was good.

We loved our stay at the Royal Horseguards! The staff was very kind and helpful, especially enjoyed our doorman Pervez! The property was very nice and clean. We highly recommend staying here if you want a nice place right by all of the monuments!

Great location but older

Very nice hotel but as others have pointed out it is getting older. Excellent location and amazing views of the London Eye. Room was comfortable, loved the under floor heating in the bathroom and big king bed. They did not restock the minibar each day, one of the elevators was always broken and the windows should really be double glazing. I know it would be expensive to replace due to heritage type but really should be upgraded.
