This is one of my best lodging experience in Europe. The place is only 6-7 minutes walk fromVictoria station, but resides in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The room is clean, and equipped with good amenities: drinking water, espresso machine with pods, kettle, bath robe and slippers. The bathroom is very clean and equipped with a bath tub! Unlike many small hotels in Europe, this one has an elevator so you don’t have to drag your luggage up and down. they also provide hot breakfast, made to order, with coffee and juice. What a pleasant stay! I would highly recommend the Windermere hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in London.

Working for this property are the location which was perfect for my needs near Victoria Coach Station, and the amazing breakfast! The staff working the breakfast shift were so friendly. The single room was tiny, but i was expecting that. The downside, i didn’t find the staff at reception (except for one lady), very friendly or helpful. When i asked a question, i felt like a disruption to their day.

Lovely hotel not far from Victoria Station
Great location, not far from Victoria Station. Lovely hotel with good quality fixtures & fittings, keeping a traditional feel. Old building with slightly wonky floors/stairs but made me appreciate the age of the building & its history. Competent staff, lovely and clean hotel/room; plus & a lovely breakfast.

The staff was welcoming and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had a shower/tub. Toiletries provided were nice. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices to pick from. The location was good. We had to meet a transfer to the cruise port at the Victoria Coach Station - it was an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. Very handy. Overall we thought it was a nice hotel and would happily stay there again.
