The location was nice, but loud. The bed was very comfortable. The property offers breakfast, which is not worth the money, and the cook set off the fire alarm one morning at 5:00am. It was terrible and the staff did not communicate properly with the guests. It was extremely inconvenient!

Overall it was okay, but we had a huge hole in the bathroom floor, it was completely broken and we almost hurt ourselves a couple of times. Very dangerous conditions. Also the whole time the bathroom smelled like sewer, it was difficult to walk into the bathroom.

Excellent location! It was central to everything and easy to take the tube. Friendly staff, they were able to hold our luggage when we arrived early from our flight. They upgraded us to a Deluxe Double room at no extra charge and was accommodating on our room preference, such as which floor and view. Room size is a typical small London room but very comfortable. Overall a great stay but one star less due to the fire alarm going off at 5am on our last day, otherwise it would have been a perfect 5 star stay!

Good, but not 4-star.
While you cannot beat the location, this hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The hotel has seen better days and is in need of some TLC and not just a coat of paint. I couldn't access my floor from one of the two elevators because the button to it was missing. The bathrooms were originally nice, but wear and tear has done what it has done best--wear and tear. Carpet seemed new, though. The staff were friendly and helpful, so no complaint there. Reception was kind of odd in being in the front window space of a cafe (?). Seemed temporary, but I'm not sure where else reception would be. Bed was comfortable, pillows were great, and hot water worked well. Noise, especially in Leicester square, is usually a concern in other hotels. No complains here, room is quiet. WiFi was decent and TV worked far better than most other hotels.

WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE BEFORE READING THIS! Victory House Leicester Square was a horrific experience: Scammed, Vomit on the floor, noisy rooms, rude staff. Don’t waste your money please. Stay elsewhere! We arrived after a long flight to check into the hotel late at night. The staff said that our room wasn’t available due to a leak on that floor, and we no longer had a room. We later read reviews and found that this was a repeat scam they had done to many other customers. They said we should move to their sister hotel “Indigo” for one night then drag our bags back after that. At hotel Indigo, the staff there said the only room for us was an accessible room which was not what we had paid for, and the noise during the night was horrendous - it sounded like someone dropping bowling balls above us. During our time we heard two other guests screaming and arguing with the front desk about their horrible experiences such as maintenance staff coming into their rooms unannounced, leaving their room open etc. We were shocked. We came back to the hotel and the front desk staff greeted us then as we walked to the elevator we slipped in a puddle of vomit. The front desk staff then walked up and said “oh yeah watch out someone threw up there”. They could have warned us. The hotels offered no compensation, did not respond to contact, and removed my booking from their registry so I couldn’t leave a review directly. Clearly this is a bait and switch scam between the two hotels.

If you want quiet and out of the way, this isn't for you. The location was awesome! The how area is so fullbof life and energy and the food options were great. Most of the major attractions are within walking distance. We were very pleased with our choice and would go back.
