Enjoyed our stay, was a warm time in London and the AC isnt great (and limited via lockout), dated hotel but cozy bed. For the price and in Mayfair, wasnt bad.

The Mayfair hotel is centrally located, close to St James, Green Park, Piccadilly,Buckingham palace. The hotel has rooms/ floors that have refurbished their rooms and these are nice, clean and comfortable. However there are rooms that are seriously outdated with old, lumpy mattresses, old carpet, stained tile in the bathroom. We were placed in such a room our first night. The following day I spoke with customer service Azhar, who was very accommodating and found me an updated, comfortable room after consulting her supervisor Max. We were moved without trouble and our remaining nights were fine. So keep this in mind if staying at this hotel. It is very old and you may need to ask to be moved.

Fantastic location and great customer service from all of the team at the Washington Mayfair Hotel. We had a lovely 3 day break. Room was immaculately clean and the hotel itself is quiet with a super comfortable bed, you can definitely get a good nights sleep. The location is brilliant and the team go above and beyond. We will definitely be booking again, thanks for a great stay!

Good location for corporate stay, but the rate was high for a fairly small and standard room. The beds are very uncomfortable, and the noise from pipes etc on the top floor create a lot of noise on the 7th floor. I booked for a colleague also and her room wasn't as clean as it ought to be, with noticeable dirt in the bathroom.

Average stay in Mayfair
Location was excellent for our stay as we were there for a Hyde Park Concert. I paid for a 4 star hotel and was expecting a 4 star service on arrival and the room to also to be 4 star. Even though I booked a cosy double, I wasn’t expecting an old style bathroom suite with shower curtain and marks on the carpet near the bedroom window. The pillows were flat. For a classic style building I was disappointed considering it was in Mayfair. It felt like the hotel had new management and lacked excellent customer service. There was no atmosphere or buzz. We stayed in a premier inn in a different part of London in March and the staff couldn’t do anymore for us.
