I recently stayed at Yotel London City in Farringdon, which is conveniently located near several underground stations and popular attractions. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms were impressive, and the Room (First Class) we booked had plenty of storage space and modern amenities. While the bathroom was a bit cramped, the shower was excellent, though it did leak slightly into the toilet.
The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with our requests. Unfortunately, one of the rooms we booked, 136, had no windows, which made it feel a bit stuffy upon arrival. The air conditioning seemed to be having some trouble, but it eventually started working effectively on Sunday night.
Overall, our stay at Yotel London City was enjoyable, and I would recommend it to others looking for a clean and comfortable accommodation with good access to London's transportation system. However, I would advise potential guests to be aware that some rooms, like 136, may not have windows. While room 236, which faced offices, was more pleasant to sit in and relax.
I hope the hotel can address the issue of windowless rooms, as it can significantly impact the overall experience, especially for guests who prefer natural light. Informing guests about this beforehand would allow them to make an informed decision when booking their stay as I don't believe they should be charged at the same rate and I would never book a room without a window.
