Even though we stayed several days, we were offered daily room clean up. That’s unusual anymore. The location was close to Farringdon station and it was in a quiet neighborhood. I prefer a site which has many, many dining and shopping choices out the door. This hotel ticks the boxes for those preferring a peaceful area.

Ditch the stupid mood lighting.
This would have been a five star review apart from one thing. The stupid ridiculous mood lighting that kept coming on every hour during the night. Sometimes flashing like a night club. There was a remote control for the lighting but no instructions so I kept pressing random buttons until it went off. For exactly one hour. This woke my sleep SEVEN times during the night which was a real pity because the bed was really comfortable, the shower lovely and the towels felt luxurious. I could not see how to call reception from the phone to find out what was going on. I tried googling the answer but just found more complaints about the lights coming on in the middle of the night at random. There was a switch by the door that mentioned remote control sensors activating the lights which I had turned off, but it seems there is a second switch to kill the mood lighting but not marked as such. As I say a real pity because I got as terrible nights sleep and I really shouldn't have. When I mentioned this on checkout the guy was really dismissive.

Fun, cool, modern hotel.
Enjoyed my stay very much. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with so many options. The gym, big with cardio machines, weight machines, and dumbbells among other things. Great location, six minute walk to the tube, and train. Neighborhood also had lots to offer with pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, and sites. Eco options if you wanted them for your room. I would stay there again, definitely!

While the hotel is very clean with a good design, and the staff are polite, the lack of room service, room space and room facilities/amenities such as a kettle, cutlery, a robe, slippers, wardrobe, etc, made my stay at yotel the worst experience I have ever had. Not to mention the lack of healthy food menu at the hotel restaurant , etc. For the price I had paid for a two nights stay ( Saturday and Sunday) I would have been better off going to a five starts hotel ( almost £500 for two nights). Terrible hotel experience really. Kind Regards J

I like this hotel but had to cancel at very last minute due to family crisis. I offered a new date to retain booking but said no. Great service by Expedia to try. Hotel - yes you are right re t&cs but small touches matter. I travel a lot to London but not sure here now.
