Terrible, Double Charged & Refused to Refund!!!

Stayed in August 2025, with airline strike, we can't make it to out first nigh stay. I called and 2 hotel receptionists said they will adjust nights when we arrive. I was thankful. The we arrived and requested early check-in, I was made to pay 40gbp for it. Now my bill came and not only they charged me still 3 full nights and ALSO billed me the early check-in fee! So they charged me double. I asked for refund because how can you charge the 3 full nights and also early-check in fee, Hotel refused to refund me 40gbp and offered 20% discount on future stay. I do not need the discount. I wanted my refund. But hotel insisted they cannot do refund. As hotel manager, you do not have the authority to rectify your hotel's error charges?? Just awful. They don't even have phone lines to be reached or being answered. I was using Whatsapp. So be warned! I felt being robbed in broad daylight. It was frustrating dealing with hotel. They make a run for your money. And we were already under financial stress with the unexpected expenses due to airline strike and we have this hotel's disgusting business ethics to deal with. Terrible!

No way of contacting for service had to get up & go down to get help with anything. Didn’t like that, knew what I was getting myself into it being capsules & not having windows but not having phones or anything like that to contact them was so inconvenient & annoying

Air conditioning was very poor to non-exsistent. Room was very hot. Pillows were some of the most awful I have ever used, like cardboard!

Honestly, this hotel was grand if all you need is literally just a bed, but that’s about it. It’s as basic as they come, think Ryanair but in hotel form, and not in a charming way. They charge you £15 per bag just to hold onto your luggage before check-in or after check-out, which is an absolute joke. I’ve stayed in hostels that’ll do it for free, so that was a bit of a slap in the face. The room itself wasn’t great. The air con barely worked (and with no window, it felt like a bit of a box), though we did manage to get a fan after asking. The shower also overflowed and leaked into the bathroom, which was just the cherry on top. The only saving grace was the location — it’s genuinely handy for getting around London. But honestly, for the price we paid, it felt like a total rip off. If you’re just desperate for somewhere to crash and don’t care about comfort, it’ll do. Otherwise, save your money and book literally anywhere else.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Even though the rooms are non-refundable, you think management would make an exception if your international flight gets cancelled—but they don’t. Best to avoid this place at all costs: management is rude, and even have Expedia a hassle.

Hotel was good. Yes minimalistic but then that was as advertised. Although the ‘extra’ charges were ridiculous ! £40 fir an ‘early’ check in (1.5 hours) then £30 to leave two bags in their left luggage room

Perfect for overnight stay in the heart of london

Perfect if you just need a nice place to crash overnight. Self check in is great, there's loads of rooms so it does feel a bit like a maze getting to your room so for that I'm glad I was not drinking as not sure I could have found my way to the room. Air con didn't seem to change the temp but I was able to turn it off. Carpets in the corridor probably could be in better shape but everything else is as you'd expect. No water in the rooms but there's different types of vending machines for anything you might need late.

It’s a small and dark hotel in a great location. Don’t fall for the early check-in scam. They charge you £60 pounds for early check-in or £15 pounds to check your luggage. They tell you rooms are not available, but when they look up your name, a room magically becomes available, but you have to pay extra. And when you check out early there is no one around if you need to troubleshoot.

La propiedad es muy céntrica con acceso al metro, bus público y caminar para visitar la mayor parte de las atracciones. Pero nos había tocado un cuarto del piso 2, que daba a un pub bar que se escuchaba la música muy alta hasta la madrugada. Nos quejamos y tuvieron que cambiarnos a otro piso que era mas tranquilo y libre de ruidos.
