The hotel is in the centre of the city, only walking distance from all of the major attractions. The trams are free withing the commercial district. The hotel's lift didn;t work for most of or stay and we had to walk up to the reception area around 10 flights. there was no explanation from staff and no appology. We will never stay there again and probably never stay in another NOVA Hotel

Location excellent. That's about it. 1) Noise from workmen from outside as soon as we arrived fri afternoon, all morning Sat. Needs to be stated and price reduced. Not worth $250 a nite. 2) Bar fridge not working 3) Plug for hairdryer in Bathroom not working. Staff siad the master switch needed to be on. Tried that, still nothing. If thats the case suggest a wriiten note claiming so. 4) Rang Sat am for milk as only one in bar fridge. Rang 3 times, with staff saying they would bring up. I ended up going downstairs to retieve. Very poor service. Just for milk in our coffee. 5) Concierge helpful when we were leaving. Woeful Disappointed.

Wonderful staff. I requested eg a quiet room, room service, extra tea bags - and the staff were prompt and obliging. Unbeatable central location. Only issue I had was the noise from the screaming kids in the pool during the afternoons where their noise echoed around the atrium and into my room and there was no blocking the noise out unless I put ear plugs in. Which I did. Kids should be encouraged to enjoy the pool of course but perhaps the hotel could place a sign up at the pool requesting all guests keep noise levels down and no yelling?

Loved the hotel used gym and pool has a spa also which was nice centreally located so can see all melbourne cbd easily, near 3x tram stops so can go anywhere in cbd free of charge also bonus

My family and I stayed for the first time and it had been a great experience. Great service and amenities. We booked the junior suite which was perfect for our young family of 4. We want to book again! The location is fantastic and great for families.

The staff were so helpful and kind. The facilities were clean and user friendly like the pool and the table tennis family area. Location was perfect and we were in walking distance to all the great local cafe's and coffee shops as well as perfect location for access to the trams. Room was very comfortable and clean, rooms made up daily for us and great internet WIFI. Comfortable beds and pillows also. Will definitely book again on our next trip to Melbourne.

The location was excellent for what we needed, but if you needed to park your car, the facilities across the road were terrible, which was not included in the price stay! A large green tarp in the centre of the building (looks like renovations or extra building is taking place) made the whole area green. It felt looking outside the window weird. Breakfast was good, but if you wanted a barrister coffee over the coffee machine, that was extra. Overall our stay was OK, won't be back though.
