Staff are attentive and friendly. The room is a bit small but still comfy and clean. The downside is the building is super close to another office building.basically I cannot open the curtain at all. The other disappointing thing is the first night I checked in the bathrobe is dirty with some makeup leftovers. I didn’t notice it until I wore the bathrobe… it is really disgusting. Well I paid 400 per night.. I didn’t expect a dirty bathrobe……

The W Melbourne always meets our expectations.. location , convenience, facilities and customer service is brilliant . I travelled solo with my daughter . Having the pool was our go too late afternoon while I could enjoy a glass of wine and I could watch her swim .

Staff were great, from our check in to our check out. Every interaction was wonderfull. Always went above to ensure our comfort and made us feel Welcome. The room was a bit too dark at the times that we needed more light, this is mainly to look for anything that our small Kids misplaced. However the overall ambiance of the room was very nice. The bed wasn’t super comfortable, but my wife and kids have a different opinion We will choose and recommend

Was really looking forward to our stay at the W. The whole place lacked atmosphere - the restaurants were closed, the in service food was over-priced and poor quality and the pool facilities were very average. The pool was very small for a hotel that size and the chlorine was so strong. Most unpleasant. Overall, nothing outstanding! Very disappointed.

On arrival, my 17 year old daughter and I were offered a “bubbly”. An alcoholic drink. We are both scarfed Muslim women. My daughter looks younger than he age as well. Where to start with all things that are wrong with this picture. The lighting throughout the whole hotel is dim! I can’t even see myself properly in the bathroom mirror. And this is through out the whole hotel, in the foyer, elevator, room, etc. I’ve stayed at W Brisbane and that was amazing. W Melbourne is not in the same league. The room is definitely over represented on the website. Was very small and again, not what I expected having stayed at W before. The toiletries in the bathroom were for one person. One loofah, one shower cap, one toothbrush, etc. I did book for two people and only one person is supposed to be able to have a shower? For the $$$ and it was a lot for one night, I expected better. This was not good enough. Will not recommend and will not come back again.
