The rooms were really clean and the ac worked perfectly. I had one of the back rooms so I didn't hear anything outside. The staff was really friendly and kind. The breakfast was hot and tasty. Its close to downtown palatka. I do have to say that the carpet needs to be shampoo, and as a past hotel worker I know it can be difficult to shampoo the carpets but 1 room at the time during low season will do. 😁

This Best Western is really a nice place to stay at. It's always clean and comfortable and a great breakfast. The staff are nice and helpful.

It is literally a roach motel. Bed was infested with roaches. The staff refunded me and I had to sleep in my car since all of the other hotels were fully booked. Never again. Do not stay at this hotel.

Although I do understand they had just had a storm not very long ago, The room stank. It obviously flooded and they just dried it out. It was very musty and wet smelling. You can tell the room had been cleaned but it wasn't super clean. The bed was just so hard. There was no way to be comfortable and we actually ended our trip a day early because I just couldn't sleep on it another night. I would like to shout out Jersey though, He was very polite and helpful.

Bug infestation. Owner is very rude and slimy. Extended two extra nights but on the second day mid-day got told to leave because i was smoking on the OUTSIDE balcony. And was told i was getting a refund because I didnt smoke inside the room. But on the "receipt" i was given shows two charges for the 15th and adjustment nowhere does it say refund witch im still confused as to why i was charged twice on the same day if the other night i paid for was charged on the 14th. Just be careful at this property they dont care about making customers happy only look at you as a dollar sign and keep it moving after that.

Spent almost 1000$ at this motel without complaining or causing any issues because me and my wife didnt have very many options. And today while they were getting a tree cut down me and my wife were smoking a cigarette watching as they cut it down, right outside of our room on the balcony had the door basically shut but just not latched as our infant was in the room sleeping did not close it all the way so we could hear if she cryed for any reason. Owner proceeded to tell me I couldn't smoke on the balcony witch makes absolutely no sense because its outside. He forced me to leave and by the looks of the reciept he double charged for that night and refunded one so im pretty sure still charged me for the night. If you work hard for your money dont spend it here as they dont care about there customers. Other places say the customer is always right well not here if he has his mind made up you are the issue not them. He wouldn't hear me out when i was explaining why I didnt want a smoking room bc i have a BABY bc theres a full balcony other guest are smoking outside there room with no issues. But proceeded to tell me that when i signed the papers to not smoke in the room that it includes the balcony and anywhere near the building CRAZY. Quality inn across the bridge is cheaper and much more accommoding if you value your money spend it elsewhere because if you have any issues with the room. To the owner your a liar as there is no roaches in HIS motel. Killed 6 in 5 min.
