love the daiwa roynet in nishi-shinjuku
this is the 2nd time staying at the daiwa roynet in nishi-shinjuku. i enjoyed the convenient location from the main station although it’s a haul when you factor in luggage. room amenities are top notch and the shower water pressure is amazing. only drawback is the size of the room. wish it was roomier. will book a larger sized room on my next stay here.

Nice hotel, and the rooms are of decent size. Don’t let the dated exterior of the building fool you… The interior and rooms are very nice. I didn’t appreciate having to pay for a late check out, but I suppose that’s common here in Tokyo.

Great location, facilities were great, only ( minor) complaints were the room was smaller than anticipated. Once our bags were unpacked a person could barely find somewhere to stand. TV only had one English Channel (CNN)

The hotel felt more so meant for business-people traveling, the room had a desk and an ironing board. However, the amenities were nice, there was a 7-11 in the building, and the bathroom was amazing (it had a large soaking tub, a waterfall shower head, and a shower wand in the wet room). There were a lot of dining and cafe options within a 10 minute walk, as well as a restaurant in the hotel.

Amazing hotel in the best area. So clean and everything you could want plus a third of the price of other luxury hotels that are not as nice. Best place for the money. Loved it

Great for a short city break.
I stayed here in mid-October for 3 nights. Very welcoming, polite, and friendly reception staff. The location is great, 3-5 minutes walk from metro station. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The breakfast buffet at the hotel can be busy so probably visit the restaurant at the start of breakfast. Rooms are small, bathroom is well-equipped.

Nice place to stay!
Nice friendly service! They stored our bags for us while we went to other cities for free. The restaurant is nice and there’s a 7-11 on the ground floor. There were free razors and mouthwash available.

I checked in at 6:30 PM on 11/7. The male front desk staff (he said he came from Pasadena CA)is unfriendly and refused to offer service to transfer luggages to my new room under my second booking on the next day. He said hotel usually doesn’t offer this service which is not true as the hotel website does indicate it will offer a smooth transfer. This staff even asked us to carry our luggages on our day tour, which is ridiculous. His attitude is unacceptable. We should get some form of compensation or refund due to this poor and unreasonable service. Johnny Ip

The Daiwa went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was friendly and quick to help. Very classy hotel, lots of quality and free amenities. The room was very clean, comfortable and provided all that we could want or need. Great experience, would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The check-in and check-out was fast with many desk clerks so there was no waiting. The rooms are a little narrow but fine overall. They supply toothbrushes & toothpaste, razor & shaving cream and a comb.

The room was very nice. Restaurant was good for breakfast. Dinner we had wasn't that great. Be aware the restaurant is closed on Tuesday evenings , so you must find somewhere local. We didn't find quality restaurants nearby.
