We liked: ONSEN! Good breakfast buffet, great location for shops, transport and restaurants. Free washing machines. Okachimachi is an area full of character and it’s wonderful to just wander the narrow streets full of market stalls and shops. Hotel was able to provide late checkout for a fee of ¥1000 per person per hour which was much appreciated. We actually stayed twice in the same trip as we like the area and onsen so much. We didn’t like: Tiny rooms but we know this is standard in Tokyo. It would just be nice to get out of bed on both sides, and actually store clothes. Just 1 elevator so it can take a while to get in/out. Breakfast room only has about 20 seats so if you go after 8am you might have to wait.

hot bath is tiny area with 2 tiny pools, it gets very crowded at night time. There is only 1 elevator, expect wait time is long to go thro 12 floors. The breakfast buffet is cheap for different varieties of food. Serve free ice creams, yogurts and ramen in different time of the day in the hotel. Hotel location is convenience for dining, shopping and all transportation. Room is actually quiet when all the windows are closed.

This hotel offers a somewhat bigger single rooms in the area within similar budget. About 150 sq ft. Nice layout with space to have my suit case opened. Bathroom is a standing shower without a tub. Shower head is powerful and yet the water is soft. Bathroom counter top is outside of the bathroom and it is big. Best part of this hotel is the wifi speed. On average I got about 60 mbps download and upload speed. Amenities wise it got laundry, indoor onsen, microwave and a manga library with free ice cream.

We loved our stay here. Location is perfect, close to train stations and restaurants and shops. Hotel room was small of course, but very comfortable and EXTREMELY quiet. We heard no noise from trains or other rooms. Onsen was lovely. We thought it would be busy but when we went there was usually no one else there. Staff was great. Breakfast was wonderful. The food was very fresh, tasty, and a combination of Japanese and western foods.

Love this place. The staff are nice and the place is clean. The location is convenient local areas and accessible to multiple transportation lines. The area is also safe, even during the night time. Highly recommend!

If the satff can speak english, it will be better. But they are very nice and kind. One of them can speak Chinese, helps a lot. More efficient in communication

Not as great as other dormy inns that I've been to. A lot smaller, only 1 elevator that gets incredibly occupied considering it needs to scale 12 floors. It's also the elevator that service staff use to transport goods and trash, so the elevator can end up smelling quite foul. Onsen isn't as big as other dormy inns I've been to, but understandable since it is in Tokyo. They have a relaxation room with a fantastic selection of manga you can read. They were kind enough to let us leave our luggage with them before check in. Dormy inn have very good amenities so no complaints there. The walls are thinner though so we could hear babies screaming quite a lot, and even another occupant yelling/in a fight with each other from inside our room... If you need to get anything, you'll need to take the one elevator down to the front desk and collect it yourself, this seems to be unique to this dormy inn as every other dormy inn the staff would be kind enough to bring it up to our room, as well as help us with our luggage to the hotel room if previously left with them before checkin. The staff were kind and patient with us, our Japanese language skills are not the best but we were able to communicate. We were very thankful that we were able to order Amazon packages and collect them from the front desk.

Hotel is in a great location and has fun amenities. Breakfast is good. Hotel itself is a little rundown, rooms are small and beds/pillows hard. They don’t clean the room for a 4 night stay so towels/trash starts piling up.
