This place and room was completely fine. Small, but expected for Tokyo. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because it’s not really centrally located. If you want to be in the heart of shinjuku, this is not it. It’s totally walkable to those areas (about 10-15 minutes or so) but this wasn’t really what we were looking for, which is our fault for not realizing. That being said, it was still close to a very cool shrine, the national garden, and a great bakery and metro stop so while I wouldn’t stay here again, it’s a great option for someone looking to be slightly removed from shinjuku but still wants to be close to the action. And the staff were all very nice and eager to help.

This hotel was conveniently located, the room was bigger than I expected and very clean. I needed some help at one point and one employee, Tadasaki, went above and beyond to help me. I will be coming back in the future.

I returned to this hotel because I loved my first stay, and it didn’t disappoint. The location is excellent—perfect if you’re planning to stay in Shinjuku, with easy walking access to just about everything. The staff are attentive, and the rooms are very clean. The rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s typical for Tokyo. I was perfectly comfortable in a single room, but if you’re booking for two people, I’d definitely recommend choosing one of the larger options. The hotel also provides just about everything you might need if you forget your toiletries. Overall, a great stay and highly reliable choice in Shinjuku.
