The roof top restaurant was closed and the staff on check in didn't mention this or advise how to use the lift with the swipe card. The position of the Hotel to the airport was great.

Convenient to airport short cab ride to twin towns for a concert, complimentary parking there was none cost another $25 for parking near by overall not a bad place.

Modern and clean, issues with heating system
We recently stayed a night at the Rydges airport hotel prior to our early morning flight out of the Gold Coast. Unfortunately the heating in our room didn’t seem to be working and our room was far too cold for our young baby. The lady at reception attempted to fix it, before moving us to a new room next door. This room however was no better, and we’d wasted a number of hours mucking around trying to sort it out. She was lovely however wasn’t able to heat a room for us either. Hotel in a convenient location however it was a shame we were unable to have the breakfast included in our stay as it didn’t open until 6am. Perhaps a takeaway breakfast pack for those with early flights would be helpful. Rooms were modern and clean.

The location at the airport meant catching an early morning flight was stress free and easy. We enjoyed a relaxing last day of our holiday, swiming in the pool and dining on site. Roof top bar and nice surroundings. Definitely will be back

Airconditioning was too cold but was fixed on 1st day. I put it on 24. ( (which I am used to) but it still seemed to get colder. tv sometimes took a while to change Chanel’s. Basic tv selection. I could here a constant knocking like a drier running next door. Apart from that, excellent shower and 7 th floor deck and bar with live guitar. Perfect location for me close to the terminal building. I would stay there

The hotel staff were very helpful and the place was spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was very good and there was plenty of variety. The 7th floor roof top terrace was great fun. My wife and I spent nearly 5 hours enjoying the atmosphere, drink and food. The Happy Hour also lasts 3 hours. Would I recommend staying at the Rydges Gold Coast Hotel? Yes.
