Great hotel. New carpets, beautiful interior and furnishings.
Free upgrade to really gorgeous room. Clean, fresh. Really can't fault the hotel at all, nice restaurant connected to hotel called the Button Factory 👌
Had a fantastic stay with my partner on a Saturday night. Hotel was clean, friendly, unique and very charming. Very happy with your stay and would definitely stay again next time we are in Birmingham.
You have to get your key from the attached pub. I was put into room 2 which is ground floor next to the pub with windows facing onto the tables outside. I was assured there would be no issues with noise or disruptions. Needless to say, people outside, you can hear everything and this went on even after closing at 11pm. I can imagine weekends would be worse! The room was ok, but stuffy. Nice and clean, but overall if youre looking for a hotel, this is not, its a house attached to a pub with noise up to approx 11:30pm. Not ideal.
How it felt like it was in the middle of no where. I thought there be an issue it being next to the pub but that made it perfect. When they had the dj i wont lie i had a dance. Once the pub closed it was so quiet. We enjoyed our time at the hotel so much.
There was no one there when we checked out and the pub was closed so we left the key on the desk which we hoped was okay.
We will come again
Absolutely love this place - it’s our second time staying here and would stay again. Great vibe, characterful decor and fabulous food (discounted for guests) next door. 10/10
Lovely room and friendly check in. Shame the room was very noisy with band playing underneath until 12ish. Got charged incorrectly for the booking but that was sorted after a few days
I was stuck last night in Birmingham and booked late. Rang the property and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Back on track today after a decent of short nights sleep.
Great hotel, with character, and a very good pub with excellent food next door (part of the hotel). The reason for the low rating is the noise. I was allocated a ground floor room between reception and the front door, with large windows looking out into the pub's terrace. Drinkers at the table outside the window could touch it. The noise from the drinkers (nothing outrageous, just having a good time) was very disturbing throughout the evening, until 1130 both nights of my stay. Unfortunately I was there to work and not to party!
It was obvious when I checked in that it would be noisy, so I asked for another room but was told there was nothing available. It might be ok in winter, but in fine weather the front two rooms will always be noisy. Guests should be warned, or possibly those rooms used for another purpose.

Nice stay
This hotel is above a vibrant bar so you are likely to hear a lot of music. That said, the room was very lovely and the food and drink in the bar was excellent too.
