Unfortunately the fire alarm went off several times during the night causing a disrupted sleep for an early flight. Whilst I understand these things can be unavoidable, when mentioning at reception in the morning was met with ‘ it’s ok it’s fixed now!’ No apology or empathy

The fire alarm went off in our room at 3 am and 4 am and a remote alarm was sounding from 3 am. We got no sleep and no acknowledgement or apology. If gratuities are compulsary, , it should clearly say so on the menus. Have stayed at Sofitel LHR on many occasions and it is usually a fantastic experience. This time was very disappointing. Staff were as always very pleasant and food is very good.

What an absolutely trashy place. I had my flight changed, so I booked it for the same day. Later the airline shifted it to the next day and the folks here refused to change the date and simply marked me as a no show so I ended up at another hotel. Avoid like the plague!

The hotel is very convenient for terminal 5. Something management should look at is the signing to rooms which is very poor and confusing ! Prices in the restaurant are very high for travellers for quality which at best was mediocre. Breakfast was excellent.

Great place Stayed overnight after flying in from NYC on our way to London. It’s attached to Heathrow and an easy walk from international arrivals. Wonderful restaurant. Quiet and beautiful hotel.
