Reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Restaurant was a little busy and didn’t have my meal choice due to logistical issues but my server was as attentive as he could be given how overstretched the service was. Would stay again simply because it’s so convenient for T5 travel.

I have stayed at the Sofitel Heathrow many times over the past decade and always find it a delight. During the holiday season the Sofitel is glittering with soft blue lights and so welcoming and festive. Everything about Sofitel -- the comfort of my room, the fabulous restaurant, the Sphere Bar, the gym that I used every day of my 5-day stay, all outstanding. The piece de resistance was the hot stone massage on my last evening at Sofitel; pure heaven and highly recommended to remove any stress points and enjoy sheer relaxation. I will be back to Sofitel Heathrow; sheer joy, comfort and delight, always!!

If you need to stay at Heathrow this is the place. It’s especially perfect for Terminal 5 which handles a great percent of BA flights. It’s on a walkway around a parking garage and probably takes 10 minutes to get to BA check in. It’s a little longer to get to the transport center for other terminals, Heathrow Express and the Tube. The room we had was “Deluxe” category and very nice. No airport views but we didn’t care. It’s possible some rooms might have views. The beds were nice and the breakfast was fine. The best part though was not bothering with a shuttle since you are right there.

The hotel was tricky to find, life I inititally used had no sign. Heathrow staff told me to go to top, which was wrong. Check in was okay, 6 people behind desk but only 1 helping guests. Not much about hotel explain, only the express checkout. Room was comfy, but not cleaned to standards of this hotel should be. Hairs all over shower wall and dude wipes packets on bedroom floor. It wad a quiet and comfortable room though and got a good night sleep before my flight. A short walk to terminal and lifts to take you up to departure.
