The room had a strong smell of sweat when we entered, and by the time we realized the air conditioning wasn’t working it was too late to do anything about it. There was also a constant noise through the night hard to tell if it was from the bathroom vent, fridge, or aircon but it kept cutting in and out every few minutes, which made it impossible to rest properly.
I ended up sneezing the whole night, and even the bedsheets made loud crinkling sounds whenever you moved. No drinking water was provided in the room (something I usually find in most hotels), and milk for tea or coffee had to be requested separately according to a note in the room. For $242 a night, this was disappointing, especially since check-in wasn’t even allowed at 1:22 pm.
The only positive was the heated pool, which I did enjoy. But if you’re looking for a peaceful night’s sleep, I would not recommend this hotel. Definitely not worth the price.
