Wouldn’t book again, but good location

The flat looked like it had been torn up. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, scuff marks and scratches on the walls, shoddy maintenance work which left horrible scratches, scuffed skirting boards. There was ONE prosecco glass and no wine glasses. Which doesn’t sound like a problem but when you arrive for a girls trip away and two people have to drink out of tumblers, it takes the fun out of it. The magnetic release on the man entrance door sometimes didn’t work. The maintenance guy came into our flat while we were out and pulled the handle off one of our bathroom doors (why were you in the bathroom?). They sent someone round to fix it and said there had been a mix up and thought we had checked out. But our coats and shoes were in the hallway so he would have seen them when he entered immediately so why then use the bathroom?! The 50% security deposit is not immediately obvious when you book so that’s a fun surprise too. Saving grace of this place is the location. Right in the middle of the bars and pubs so great for the night life but everything else, poor effort.

Apartment was spacious and well appointed. Located walking distance to shops and restaurants. Check in was a little clunky as a tenancy agreement needs to be signed and additional credit card details provided, however once that’s all done the codes to get in were promptly provided.

Good place but needs some TLC sliding door in bedroom did not lock or shut so did not feel very safe, only 1 key card for 9 people to enter room 😞 freezer was full of ice could not use it plus drawers were broken, apartment needs re decorating and good clean up on the up side it was in a good position to walk to everywhere

Layout was good but decor needed some touching up. No windows that could be opened so apartment stayed very warm and especially when showers were used as the steam could not escape. Location really good. Need better lighting in bedrooms around the mirros

The dishwasher wasn't working, and didn't get sorted. No cleaning was done, you had to ask for basics like Toilet rolls, towels. The caretaker Jenna was extremely rude!! Unacceptable behaviour!!

Not a great stay, to many issues.

The property has sewage problems and the smell was disgusting, the power kept tripping when trying to use toaster and sofa bed was completely broken. No WIFI or cable TV in the living. No signal either. I had to contact management who took a day to respond to our request for a room change, then they moved us to a smaller room. Location is excellent but also in a very lively street with sounds from the nightclub being heard in the apartment. Windows broken and wouldn't seal. Very disappointed for the price paid. Would only recommend for people not looking to spend any time in the apartment.

This apartment is in no way luxurious. It’s unsafe and unfit for purpose. The walls are dirty, scraped, paint missing. It is under equipped, no oven gloves, tea towel and we were left two dirty washing up sponges that were not usable. The windows have a film over them so there is no view. It’s very dark and oppressive. The blind was broken and the outer window was smashed. The threshold from the living area to bedroom area had two screws sticking up, which cut my partner’s foot. The threshold was loose and unsafe. The laminate flooring in the kitchen area has gaps in and I stubbed my toes. The bathroom is a wet room and very slippery when wet. My partner slipped but, managed to stop herself from falling. The communication is very poor. Emails not responded to, even though they had been read. It took three days to get through to a senior manager.

Over sell

Although the property was clean. The property is not fit for purpose. Says sleeps 8 but just one 3 seater sofa. Says bathroom but plug did not fit so unable to use bath and it says fully fitted functional kitchen but the oven was unusable as had no shelves and only 2 glasses in property. I tried to contact the property whilst on holiday and again for months after but they have refused to get in contact with me or resolve my complaint. Its seems they were happy to take my money and really have very little regard for customer service.

Highs and lows.

The flat was much nicer than expected. It was large with a nice sofa and TV. The shower was perfectly functional and bed was comfortable. Issue was the flat was rather hot, no air con, and given the location you don't want to open the windows. Other guests were also not too considerate of the need for others to sleep. Finally the communication is other the top. They email you daily if feels like, which just isn't needed.

Booked a room for a one night stay. I was told check in details would be sent before 3pm but we arrived and there was no check in details. Contacted on WhatsApp with a message and phone call no answer. Rang the main number and the lady said she would send the check in details straight away this was past 4pm. Very uncomfortable sofa bed, was told it was a king bed but was a Double in the main room. Fire alarm went off at 7am in the morning.

Our room smelled terribly of cigarette. I asked the hotel receptionist (which by the way is reachable via WhatsApp and not physically present) if they could clean the room thoroughly. They sent a staff member with a can of Lysol. That was the solution. After staying around 15-30 minutes in the room I couldn’t bare the cigarette and smoke dander. It was everywhere. I ended up in a coughing and allergy attack I had to leave. I asked for another room and they didn’t have any. I asked for a refund and they couldn’t “guarantee” one. I’m taking it up with Expedia or my credit card. I don’t recommend this place
