The staff were lovely and very helpful. However, the property is quite dated and dirty. Compared to other four star accomodation we have stayed in around the UK, it is definitely not four star. Additionally, we were staying in the top floor and the shower is very difficult to use if you are tall due to the slopping roof.
Nice clean room with a comfortable bed ans decent shower. A bit noisy as it is on a busy main road, but thats not their fault. Short walk to local shops and restaurants.
The staff were nice and helpful. The WiFi was exceptionally bad. The water boiled was broken and wouldn’t stop boiling, the sink has been leaking water whenever we use it. The floor of the restaurant was sticky. Not recommended.
Wonderful staff. The breakfast was outstanding! Very friendly. A little dated but clean and comfortable. Location to Oxford was not ideal.

Fine I guess.
Staff were nice. Room was clean. Doors are paper thin and there was a bright blue light coming from a WiFi access point which kept me awake. It was also very warm in the room. The cooked breakfast at buffet was so salty I couldn’t eat it.
I didn’t sleep very well, and left hungry, but it kept the rain off.
We really liked that it was comfortable and low key. Breakfast was fine, fruit and muesli as well as croissants and english breakfast stuff. It had a tub shower and that was difficult to use and a bit slipper (although there was a mat). Minor issue. The only real problem is one we knew and booked anyway, it is a bit far from restaurants and shops, even though on Banbury Rd. But for good walkers, Summertown is only a resonable walk away.
Booked two small double rooms, such a warm welcome from the hotel, great service for our stay. Fantastic breakfast, nice comfortable clean room. My parents forgot to get their room serviced so asked reception for some more tea and hot chocolate and a selection was brought straight away. Although we were facing the road, the room was quiet, we had enough room for our travel cot. Parking at the front is very limited but there is another car park at the back so parking was very easy and convenient.

This is a nice little in. We had difficulty finding the parking in the rear, its off of a side street. But once directed, it was fine. The room had everything we needed and they even accommodated a special request.

An average stay. Pleasant superior double room although it didn't feel superior! The big bed was very comfortable but although the en-suite was adequate there was nothing superior about it. The loo seat was attached to the pan on one side only, the shower screen was not water-tight, one of the towel hooks on the bathroom door was missing and had a sticky patch to cover the space.
The bathroom door-stop in the bedroom is positioned in the carpet at a location perfect for stubbing your toe when you get out of bed, and if you are sitting on the side of the bed when your companion exits the bathroom you are likely to get the door bashed into your knees.
It was only after Id booked that it realised it was a B&B. Both the breakfast room and the breakfast was just that. Nothing more than average.
