There is also the popular Fernhill Town Link track, which is 20minute scenic forest walk into town centre. Two nearby local restaurants are just a few steps from your door, Nest and Lokal, the latter offering takeaways for a quiet night in. This home is a peaceful retreat, yet still close enough to all the action.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: Four comfortable bedrooms, three with ensuites and all with luxury linens. The master bedroom boasts spectacular lake views and Freeview TV. The fourth bedroom is self-contained with private external access on the lower level (no internal access), great for grandparents or extended family groups. All four bathrooms have luxury toiletries, hair dryers, underfloor heating, and heated towel rails.

LIVING AREAS: Indoor and Outdoor living aplenty. Inside, the open plan living area boasts loads of natural sunlight, bi-fold windows, a beautiful wood log fireplace adding an element of rustic mountain charm. There’s a Plasma TV with SKY, DVD player, surround sound and a selection of DVDs to keep you entertained, and central gas heating to keep you warm and toasty.
Step outside from three sides of the main living space, offering a seamless connection with outdoor living in mind. There is a wrap-around balcony and lake-facing seating. Guests will love the outdoor ‘sunroom’ with its inviting French doors, stunning schist fireplace and innovative LouvreTec system. This automatic retractable roof, paired with a cosy outdoor heater ensures that you can enjoy this space all year round. It's the perfect spot for gathering with friends and family, the sunroom also features a spacious dining table, BBQ, and outdoor TV.
KITCHEN & DINING: Modern fully equipped kitchen, including coffee machine. There are multiple seating options, including breakfast bar seating, and formal dining for eight both indoors and outdoors in the covered sunroom for ‘all seasons’ al fresco.
Outside, and up the garden path, you’ll find a charming upper deck area, complete with cedar hut and seating, this is the perfect spot to enjoy and after dinner drink and soak in the sunset.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS: Mountain Vista has ample outdoor areas, to sit, cook and dine, but the icing on the cake really is the large outdoor spa pool* (*spa pool service charges apply), the perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes or exploring Queenstown. There are many local hiking and mountain biking trails on your doorstep in the Fernhill area, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can head up to the top of the popular Skyline Gondola, or to the top of Ben Lomond for a full day hike.
OTHER PRACTICALITIES: There is off street parking on the driveway in front of the property, please note the garage is not available for guest use.
RATES, INCLUSIONS & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, premium linen and for a maximum of eight guests. A departure clean fee of NZ$400 applies. Bookings of 8 nights or more receive a service clean. Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
•Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
•A standard exit clean is included in your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state. Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at departure will result in extended housekeeping hours being charged. This may include carpet cleaning or excessive rubbish removal for example.
•Mountain Vista is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.
•Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. Quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am as per Resource Consent.
•We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation in the event of any damage to the property. The guest will be notified immediately should a charge need to be taken.
