Sofitel was very convenient for a morning flight from Terminal 5. Staff is friendly and helpful; good selection of restaurants to choose from. Room was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Although located conveniently in Terminal 5, there was no directions on how to find the hotel entrance and we didn’t see any signage in airport. It took some friendly Heatherow staff to show us the way thankfully. (Adjacent to the parking garage)

Check in was very slow and then staff gave me a room on first floor when I explicitly asked for high floor in my booking. They said there were no other rooms available (which was a lie). So I went to the room anyways. When got there noticed there was a random crib in the room and there was poop in the toilet. Tried calling reception on phone and they never picked up so I went down to tell of the situation. They were slow to get me other room and in total it took over half a hour from the point I initially waited to check to when I finally got a room that was actually ready.
