Hotel was very busy and we found it difficult to find a parking space. The breakfast session was dreadful it was so busy it was unreal, queues everywhere and staff had to rush around to clear tables and stock up. In all the times I’ve stayed in hotels this was the busiest I had ever seen. It was the Southampton boat show week so this is probably why. Hotel was very clean and staff friendly. We had to leave early due to an emergency so disappointed we only got a refund of £50 when we paid £300. Overall the holiday inn are pretty decent hotels and you can expect clean and also friendly staff. Use them all the time.

Stayed here 2 years ago and it was great so we went back. Really needs some renovating as it’s looking and feeling very old and tired. Even the landscaping was not maintained. The morning breakfast was the best! Excellent hot food

Lovely reception staff who sorted different rooms as we had a change of bed needs so we got 2 family rooms next door to each other. Bathroom in need of a deep clean but ok for a one night stay. Car park and restaurant really busy and too many small children running around during breakfast but that’s the parents fault not the hotel!!!

Rooms are spacious enough , though my room seemed to be above the washing machines which operated in the small hours. Breakfasts good , evening meal choice is Ok. overall great !

All Good!
Safe area off the beaten track and close to Jn 7 on the M27. Staff were very helpful even thought we arrived at 9pm. Great Breakfast and comfy night. All Good!
