The room although appears nice at first glance was not clean. When I went to run a shower all black dirt rose up in the water disgusting. I cleaned the whole bathroom before I used it. The linens appeared fresh but had a peculiar order. The room was musty n needed a refresh.

I paid for a room with 2 queen beds and when i checked on it was 1 king bed. They said they were booked up and didnt have anymore. They said it was Hotel.com fault. I feel like i deserve a refund. It was horrible

Close to USF campus, but that’s about it.
I wish I had better things to say. The location of this hotel is ideal if you need to be close to USF. It has undergone a renovation, but is by no means a new hotel. The doors are not well insulated and you can hear everything. Every person in the hall, every door slam, every cart roll by, at all hours of the day and night. We could hear the people talking and walking in the room above us, and could even hear them rolling up and down their window shades. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-cleaned, but then we saw a cockroach the morning we checked out. Our TV would turn on randomly all throughout the day and night, which someone clearly knew about as our tv was unplugged upon arrival. Would not stay again.

All in all, a good experience. Travelling with our small dog and room deodorized daily (though our Schnauzer doesn't smell or leave messes). Appreciate the effort and tipped the room staff accordingly (more people should consider helping those folks out....thankless job usually) Outside area was clean and pet friendly though the poop bag dispenser was empty the 5 days we were there. We brought our own but some other pet owners didn't 🙄 Biggest complaint was the "restaurant" which consisted of the bartender/waitress trying to take orders, then it seemed she was also trying to cook....I'm not sure but heard several patrons complaining about how long the food took to come out. The all-in-one bartender they were talking about wasn't there after the 3rd day as she was struggling and was possibly let go. The other staff that was there after her seemed MUCH more capable, though the plates didn't seem very appealing and the "restaurant" didn't have a very big selection. Also, not a coffee snob but the coffee at the bar, although complimentary, wasn't great. Still a decent experience though I'll probably stay elsewhere next time.
