Great stay
This hotel was in a fantastic location and had the option for a buffet breakfast which was very convenient some of our mornings. The staff was very kind and helpful. They also had an on site washing machine which was very helpful to have as not all hotels we stayed at had it. The station is so easy to get to from there, restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance very close by. Akihabara is even a short like 15 minute walk away. We had a great stay here!

Sake tasting and view of Tokyo Tower in the bar
Walking distance to Akihabara district & an hour to the airport by taxi/uber. Basic rooms with coach beds and bathroom - ours had a shower and soaking tub. What set it apart was the nightly free sake tasting on the 14th floor in the small bar area. They also offered a noodle night, with free small bowls of ramen. Simple and sweet, with view of the city and Tokyo Tower. Staff were very kind and helpful, and they stored our bags between checkout and our departure time.

It was nice stay, employees are nice and helpful. Just be aware that dooms and hotel in general runs towards the small size , I believe most of the places in Japan are the same in general, but to me it was a bit of a surprise. The best thing about this hotel is it is close by the metro station and close to a very nice shopping area.

Rooms were relatively spacious and updated. Generally clean but I have to dock a few points because housekeeping left a few strands of hair in the bathroom (2 black, 1 blond) in the sink and on the shower door. They changed the garbage bags and towels daily, and offered free bottled water if you did not request for full housekeeping services that day. Hotel also offered free sake and tea from 5:30-9:30pm and free soba (limited to 30 available per night) at 8:45pm at their 14F lounge. Great view of Tokyo Skytree from the lounge but they close promptly at 9:30pm whether you are done your drink or not. Dining, stores, convenience stores, and donki available nearby and you have easy access to Naka-Okachimachi, Okachimachi, and Ueno stations. Wish they had more dining options available close to the hotel but we did notice a handful of halal places mentioned on Google maps if you prefer that. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. They provide a list of things you can borrow from them including bottle openers, luggage scales, etc. which is very convenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room relatively quiet until we had some new neighbours that checked in and kept walking back and forth between their booked rooms and chatting with their doors open. Not entirely sure but there may be a hospital nearby as we often heard the ambulance pass by at night. For this location, price, and quality, I would recommend this hotel!

Good location in Ueno with a subway stop directly outside of the hotel, you’re also really close to Akihabara. The staff at the front desk were nice & were helpful with booking a taxi to the Airport for us. My room large but was carpeted which I thought was weird since it’s probably hard to clean. I had a king bed which was nice. I liked how the toilet & shower are in separate rooms; the shower room is also pretty big. The included hair dryer is terrible though. The elevators in the building are slow & there were only 2 washers & dryers for the whole building with 1 of the dryers being broken & the laundry room also felt like a sauna which was not great. Thankfully, there was a laundromat close by. One thing I really didn’t appreciate about this hotel was them using being eco friendly as an excuse for cost cutting measures; your room is cleaned minimally unless you mark with a magnet you want a full cleaning. You’re “rewarded” with 1 free water if you choose the minimal cleaning option otherwise no water is provided, while other hotels provide free water everyday to all of the people under your booking. Things like toothbrushes, paste, hair brushes, ect. aren’t provided in your room by default, you need to get it from downstairs. Overall, I don’t think I’d come again. I think having the word premium in the name of a 4 star hotel while nickel & diming customers doesn’t feel great.
