This is a hotel emphasize minimalism and zen feeling. As soon as you walk in you have the pressure to be very quiet. At first it was fine, after a few days of lack of interests to provide services from the staffs, it just makes me feel very cold. Hotel staffs seem like they’re afraid of you talking to them. A few are nice and smiley but kept their conversation minimal. Others just showing one question is too much especially one particular staff during check in time. Very uninterested and cold. One staff Chris is very nice though. They don’t clean and replace your tea cups and refill some basic stuffs like toothbrush and Q tips. But room is genuinely clean and comfortable. Except the design of window is low on the floor level. I bumped my head twice as there is a wall built above the low window. Very weird design. All windows are on the floor level. Walls at your eye level. And easy to bump your head everywhere.
On the last day when we were checking out, we saw a bug crawling in the room.
The stay was great, staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and well kept. The room we did get was quite small, although expected for a basic room in Tokyo! If you plan to stay here with many luggage, I might recommend trying to get a bigger room.
Onsen was nice and relaxing. Couldn’t ask for a better view of the city from the bath.
Beautiful tranquil spot in Tokyo! If you’ve never been to an Onsen before, this is a great place to start :) Friendly staff and pristine property near 7-11 for extra convenience. Loved it
Our stay was really incredible. The staff were so friendly, and the rooms were so nice and clean. If you stay here, definitely pay for the breakfast. It was one of the best things about the hotel. The onsen was beautiful as well. Definitely try to go at night for the onsen for the city view. Overall, 10/10 and would DEFINITELY recommend.
This was incredible. Onsen: fanstatsic, Rooms: stunning, staff: brilliant. What a perfect stay for our first trip to Japan. Location was amazing, right across the road from an amazing 7/11 but more importantly great izakayas, restaurant and travel all very near by. Will be thinking of this place for a while and have already recommended to our friends!
Loved the onsen, we arrived at midnight and were able to go straight into it after such a long day travelling as it shuts at 2am. Was a highlight of our trip.
The place is clean and organized. Onsen is really good but crowed at night. The room is really tiny. No extra space for visitors to seat and relax anywhere at hotel.
